I entered a contest by DuPont to use Tyvek in new ways. While I don't drink kool-aid about environmentally friendly plastic, it is a great material. Fabric? Paper? Something else, who knows?

I took an old, much loved backpack that I received from Chrome backpacks for biking to work. The straps were fine but the bag needed to be remade.

I also wanted to do some origami because the material folds so well. I followed these instructions:

I love personalizing my possessions like this because it makes me appreciate and care for it better. When it breaks I'm more likely to fix it instead of buying another.
