Ever wonder what your lips will look like after filler?

The progression is different for everyone but you should expect swelling and even bruising after getting your filler.
It takes about 2 weeks for the filler to settle and if you feel like you need more filler this is the time we can inject again!

Things you can do after a filler appointment include: apply ice pack to alleviate swelling
- apply arnica gel topically
- take oral arnica tablets to prevent and heal bruising
- use an oral pain reliever such as Tylenol

Things to avoid after a filler appointment:
-avoid exercise for 24 hours after
-avoid excessive alcohol for 24 hours after
-there is no need to massage (unless instructed to by your injector)
-no dental procedures or vaccines for 2 weeks after
