1980s Woodland Camo Chemical Protective Suit Jacket
This jacket was designed for use in case of nuclear biological and chemical attacks in the 80s. The outer layer is very thick to defend against chemicals, while the inside is lined with charcoal. There are chest pockets with unconventional Velcro pads to secure your items from being contaminated. Both sleeves also have double pockets for your stash.
The “charcoal” lining is actually activated carbon or activated charcoal. It has properties that allow it to combine and absorb with hazardous material.
*with this items age I would not recommend relying on its chemical protective properties. I would also use caution when washing, the charcoal can come off in the washer, I would follow the care instructions issue on the tag.

1960s M17 Gas Mask Bag
The M17 gas mask bag was used from 1959 to the mid 90s. The bag is made from heavy cotton canvas and has a snap button enclosure to protect the gas mask. The bag can be worn in two different ways. In one way (see first slide), it can be strapped around the waist with one strap, while the other straps around the left thigh to keep the bag steady. The bag can also be worn with one around the shoulder and the other attached to a separate pack. (See last slide, credit to for the reference picture) The bag also features two outside pockets for accessories.

Swedish Army C 150 Jacket Liner
It is a very thick cotton jacket liner made for an extra toasty jacket. It features a button enclosure as well as a few Velcro pads on the inside. It also has buttery soft cuffs that hug your wrists.
As far as the history of this piece, we are completely stumped. We even found another jacket liner that was called a C 150 but was a slightly different silhouette. We then searched for C 150 jackets but couldn’t find what we were looking for. If anyone has any information or could lead us in the direction of discovering more let us know, it will be greatly appreciated.
