German legalization of recreational cannabis will open up another critical market for African cannabis exports.
With the current illegal adult-use market already estimated at 500ton/year and likely to increase post-prohibition, Germany is poised to be amongst the largest cannabis markets in the world. Its already the 2nd largest medical cannabis market in the world, after the US.

I think the stress of being in a highly racialized country in the 1970s, not in Jamaica, it's an island, everybody knows everybody and most of all, it's a Black country.
And so I started gravitating to activism and the arts, which g***a was a part of that, in the 1970s, particularly in New York where I was. So as a young person, it became part of how I dealt with the stress, that environment of racism, that just basically was the order of the day in a very cold, in a very overt manner.”
