Lil storytime.

If you scroll down the very bottom of my pics, you will find a kimono shoot. This was from way back 2019.

I discovered Haru and Kristoff's kimono shops during a visit to a Japanese language school in España. Got their socials, followed, and discovered a post for a kimono shoot. Needless to say, it was fun, so I did it twice. But I only had the base kimono. Went to Kristoff's shop in Sampaloc and got some essentials, and bought a (handmade I believe) hair accesory from Haru during a street party in Escolta.

Anyway wala namang life lesson. I've been a longtime (2012?) lurker of the cosplay community, with bits of few cosplay and cosplay adjacent activities (kimono and lo**ta) in between, until I started to actually pick up cosplaying as a hobby last 2022. I still see some of the moots I've met before in those activities, and I'm glad they are still cosplaying and thriving. I don't know why I only chose to cosplay at this age, but I'm glad I did.

Yes, Lucy is a comfort character. I won't stop cosplaying her anytime soon.
