People often think of investing in just financial terms, but one of the best definitions I've found includes more than money:

🔎 Invest /inˈvest/ verb: to devote (one's time, effort, or energy) to a particular undertaking with the expectation of a worthwhile result.

Investing goes beyond your retirement portfolio. It can include your mental health, your education, your community, your relationships and, essentially, anything in your life that you want to improve upon. 📈

The Stanley family has been having a blast this summer in Scandinavia! 🇸🇪

We arrived in Stockholm on July 16th to sunny skies and a bustling city. We rented a home in one of the suburbs, a quick 20 minute train ride from the city, which made exploring everything so much easier! The dedication to public transportation and ensuring children are treated like respected citizens has truly amazed and delighted us!

We visited Junibacken (Pippi Longstocking museum), the Vasa (warship built in the 1600s), and Sandhamn. Being in Sweden has brought all of us closer and watching the kids dip their toes in the Baltic Ocean and eat wild blueberries are memories I will always cherish.

The gilded halls of Drottningholm Palace, the silent disco at the ABBA museum, and Gamla Stan (Stockholm's old town) are also beloved moments from this trip.

Olivia learned how to ride her bike without training wheels, I discovered my love for Swedish cinnamon rolls, and I still can't believe this is my life. 💜

Next stop: 🇳🇴

Oscillations are normal in the stock market, and the best thing you can do is go with the flow and buy the “on sale” stocks. 📈

Don't let someone scare you away from investing because it's "gambling." It isn't.

𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐬. Especially early in your journey.

You may not have all of the answers or confidence right now, but what you do have are big brains 🧠 and big dreams 💭.

That's half the battle. With those two things, the world is your proverbial oyster.

I'm forever grateful I took the calculated risks I did in my 20s when it comes to finances. These decisions set me up for a decade of abundance in my 30s.
