Soaking up the sunshine!
In class, we have been working on m-ate essay prep. Students read a passage, respond to a prompt, then plan and type an essay. It’s a big job and they working hard!
We discussed early farming in Michigan this week. Today, we talked about the different tools pioneers used.
We’re working on dialogue in grammar this week, which is a tricky skill, so we’re splitting task cards into two days.
April hallway projects are up!
Mobile dentist forms coming home today.
Field trip information and permission slips are coming home today. Please return attached paperwork and the $5 fee for students by April 12.
We’re watching The One and Only Ivan on this snowy morning. I love the conversations we have comparing the book to the movie.
Our goal is to dig out as many fossils, or chocolate chips, using tooth picks.
The Reptarium brought some animals to sschool today!
We’re preparing for tomorrow’s history test by playing hoop, shoot, review!

This week we discussed pioneers in early Michigan. Ask your child to share their thoughts about what we learned!
Grammar task cards, spelling work, Exact Path….We’re taking a few minutes to catch up on work.
We’re learning how to compare fractions using number lines and fraction bars.
History test next week! Students spent the last two days working on study cards. Please make sure they review each night to prepare for the test.
