9/3: Tensed when approaching, walked on a semi loose leash, slow tail wag. As i was going to leash him to come back into eval he started running back and fourth making me "chase" after him, tensing up, tail low, whale eyes, cowering.

9/2: Tense, able to walk.

Seen phelgm on kennel floor. Dog has normal eyes and nose. After consulting
with vet, the plan is to move to south D and begin URI treatment. Dog is QAR,
wagging tail, has firm stool, and has good appetite.

7/1 Stray |German Shepherd Mix | Spayed Female | 4Y | 52lbs | HW NEG/NAD

💜 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀
We were not able to meet Betty just yet. Let us know if you have any questions.

📝 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀:
7/4 Calm in kennel but when placed in run during cleaning Betty will begin pacing, loud crying, heavy panting/salivating and trying to jump up on gate or push through gap between fencepost and gate.
7/5 Jumping at the front of the kennel, high pitch barking. As i leash her she was pulling on the leash. When placing in the runs she high pitch barking, jumping at the front of the kennel, vocalizing, biting the door, trying to escape
7/6 zig-zagging on leash, once we reached grass she pottied and as soon as she finished she began pulling tightly, clawing at ground and crying to get to door, and then jumping up on door and scratching and crying at door. Calmed down once inside and entered kennel.
7/9 Pulls on leash, seems to be neutral while walking. Dog does tend to be timid at times. Dog walks in a zig zag pattern but i was able to baby talk it and seemed to somewhat relaxed.
7/10 Kept kennel clean and neat overnight, walked with semi-tight leash out to runs for AM and PM walk. As soon as she pottied both times began crying, jumping against gate in runs and pulling tightly to get back inside. Once inside slowed and relaxed, entered kennel and stood calmly to be unleashed and given treats
7/15Lunges forward when dogs are passing kennel. Kennel has remained covered and will jump on the side to try and see dog passing by. Had to cover the side of the kennel as well and toss treats over each time I pass by with another dog. Walks on
a loose leash and been placing n the chicken coop to prevent any further stimluation around other dogs.

✨Finders notes: These two pups were left in a bin with the lid on in front of house down the street from me. We have no idea how long they were sitting in front of the empty house that has been for sale over 2 months. We are positive that they were left there to die. The sun was beating down on them with no air getting through the bin. They were very hot, had open sores on their neck and legs, and infested with fleas. My husband and I bathed them and try to get all the fleas off. We gave them food and water, let them cool off. Knowing they didn't belong to anyone, we brought them to Barc. They may possibly have ringworm. They are very sweet and social. They can eat on their own. They look to be labrador mix.

💜 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀

Ozzie and Harriet are very cute and active puppies. They are small and look to be around 6 weeks old. Because they are in a kennel together it was hard trying to open the door without both of them running out. They loved my treats I fed them. They both have their own personalities and would be just fine if separated.

We have two pups with possible ringworm. They have hair loss on back of neck. They are eating well and active. If you can help them, please let us know before 1pm 07-05-2024
