Is too much spicy food good for you?

Without spices, what would food be? A variety of spices are used in various cuisines to enhance a dish's flavour, colour, and preservation. Chili peppers and other hot or fiery spices enhance the flavour of your food as well as having potential health benefits.

- Various spices contain a substance called capsaicin, which may improve metabolism and heart health and even relieve pain.
- Consuming peppers raw, roasted, or dried can provide health benefits since the hotter the pepper, the more capsaicin it contains.
- If you have inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), exercise caution when consuming spicy meals as they may bring on a flare-up.

Benefits of cooking with air fryer.

⁃ Using air fryers can promote weight loss
A higher intake of fried foods has direct links with higher obesity risk. This is because deep fried foods tend to be high in fat and calories.
Switching from deep-fried foods to air-fried foods and reducing regular intake of unhealthful oils can promote weight loss.
⁃ Air fryers can be safer than deep fryers
Deep-frying foods involves heating a large container full of scalding oil. This can pose a safety risk. While air fryers do get hot, there is no risk of spilling, splashing, or accidentally touching hot oil. People should use frying machines carefully and follow instructions to ensure safety.
⁃ Air fryers reduce the risk of toxic acrylamide formation
Frying food in oil can cause dangerous compounds to develop, such as acrylamide. This compound forms in certain foods during high-heat cooking methods, such as deep frying.
According to the International Agency for Research of Cancer, acrylamide may have links to the development of some cancers, including endometrial, ovarian, pancreatic, breast, and oesophageal cancer.
have also suggested a link between dietary acrylamide and kidney, endometrial, or ovarian cancers, though the results are uncertain.
By switching to air frying, people can lower the risks.
of having acrylamide in their food.
⁃ Cutting down on deep-fried foods reduces disease risk
Cooking with oil and consuming traditional fried foods regularly has links to many adverse health conditions. Replacing deep frying with other cooking methods can reduce a person’s risk of these complications.

Is eating at night bad for you?

Most individuals have probably done a few late-night raids on the refrigerator, including you. But is there any danger in developing a nightly snacking routine? Even specialists haven't come up with a definitive response to that query.

It's challenging to give a straightforward response, such as "It's good" or "It's bad," says Dr. Sarah Musleh, endocrinologist at Anzara Health. "The effects of nighttime eating can differ based on personal characteristics and on the type and amount of food being consumed," she says.
According to Musleh, some research links eating at night to significant health risks like:

• Hormone swings: Late-night diners may experience increased amounts of the "hunger hormone," ghrelin, and lower levels of the hormone leptin, which makes you feel full. This implies that eating at night can make you feel more hungry the next day.
• Metabolic syndrome: According to some study, eating late at night increases your risk of developing metabolic syndrome, a group of symptoms that includes heart disease, diabetes, and strokes. Additionally, eating late at night frequently entails consuming more high-fat or low-nutrient items, which may potentially increase your chance of developing metabolic syndrome.
• Higher blood sugar: Experts associate decreased glucose tolerance, often known as prediabetes, with eating at night. Research has also linked late-night eating to insulin resistance, which may raise your chance of developing type 2 diabetes and prediabetes.
• Poor sleep: There is some evidence connecting midnight eating to reduced sleep efficiency and more awakening during night.

Why Students Prefer Eating Instant Noodles
1. Cheap
The majority of college students eat ramen because it’s cheap. Many students don’t have a big budget to work with and often have many sides hustles to pay the bills. That’s why instant ramen noodles are great for saving money.
One thing to keep in mind is to not eat too much ramen, and it’s not the best meal out there. It’s great to eat it once or twice a week but don’t eat it every day.
Another great tip is to add some other ingredients to the instant ramen like eggs, bell, or garlic.
The best way to eat cheap noodles is to buy a box at once instead of buying many different flavors. It will save you even more money. Make sure to buy the flavor you like the most.
2. Tasty
Ramen is very tasty, and there are hundreds of different flavors to choose from. These instant noodles can be healthy, but it depends on the way you cook them. The amount of different brands you can choose from is insane.
The best way to get the most out of your money is to avoid buying styrofoam cups. There aren’t many noodles in there, and for the price, it’s better to buy a sealed one.
What I highly recommend you do is to mix some noodles if you aren’t full after one pack. Some noodles mix really well together, making it even tastier.
3. Convenient
College students often want something convenient to eat because they don’t have much time. Ramen is a great solution for that. It’s instant, and the noodles are delicious. You don’t need to take everything out of the fridge to cook something.
Cook the water, pour it in the cup or pan, wait a couple of minutes, and you’re ready to go. It’s very convenient.
In other countries like Japan and Korea, college students go to convenience stores almost weekly to eat ramen noodles.
Sadly these types of convenience stores aren’t in the USA, Canada, and Europe. Maybe in the future, there will be these modern stores.
4. Available in Every Store
Ramen is available in every store, and it doesn’t matter in which country or city you are. Every grocery store has instant ramen noodles. This makes it very accessible for college students to pick up when doing groceries.
What I really like is that grocery stores are slowly expanding in more ramen flavors. A couple of years ago, you could only buy ramen in Asian grocery stores. Slowly it’s becoming more and more popular because college students found out about it.
If you’ve never seen ramen in a grocery store, you’re probably living under a rock. Almost every grocery store in the world sells ramen or a different type of instant noodles.
5. Great Snack
Ramen is a great snack, and college students love it. It’s easy to make, and you don’t have to prepare hours in advance.
This is one of the main benefits students get when eating ramen, and it saves them hours of time which they could be studying or doing something fun.
The majority of college students eat ramen as a snack at night. If you’re at a party late at night and don’t know what to eat, ramen is a great solution.
It’s tasty, and everyone loves it. In my entire life, there’s been no one that didn’t like instant ramen noodles.
6. Easy to Make
It’s incredibly easy to make. In less than 3 minutes, your cup of ramen noodles is ready to eat. This is one of the benefits of eating ramen, and it’s easy to make and doesn’t cause a headache. The majority of students don’t cook at their dorm.
Cooking takes a long time, especially if you are a college student with zero experience. The campus where the college students are studying often has a canteen where they can eat.
However, the introverts that don’t like that place often go home and eat instant noodles. It’s easy, delicious and you don’t have to deal with other people.

How Korean Fried Chicken, AKA “Candy Chicken” Became a Transnational Comfort Food
Fried chicken is a common celebratory food in South Korea nowadays, although it is not only consumed on payday or Friday nights. When I'm feeling lazy, staying over with pals, or watching baseball or soccer games, I order delivery of fried chicken.
A common food staple in the diet of many Koreans is fried chicken. In Korean TV dramas, it was the cliche of a content family. When I was a little girl, I used to dream that my father would exclaim, "Hey kids, I brought fried chicken!" I recall once questioning my father's love for us because he never brought home a carton of chicken.
A Korean American immigrant family in Washington, D.C., Karen Park and Young-Jun Park, were aware of the rising demand for Korean fried chicken. They decided to sell Korean food in an area outside the Asian ethnic enclave after operating fish and chips eateries for almost two decades. The Parks believed the American palate was prepared to experiment with their Korean-style foods as the Hallyu, or "Korean wave," of K-pop music and K-dramas extended over the world.
They started KoChix, a now well-known restaurant, in Washington, D.C.'s Shaw area in 2013. The entrance bell chimes every 30 seconds on the weekends and in the evenings as people wait in line to sample this delectable delicacy. Customers have dubbed their fried chicken, which has been deliciously sweetened to appeal more to American tastes, "sugar chicken" because of its crispy texture and sweet flavour.
The KoChix narrative is a perfect example of how immigrants may cross ethnic culinary barriers and serve other cultures. The Parks had long struggled to merge their unique culinary character into their business before launching their establishment. The Korean fried chicken at KoChix is now used as an illustration of how a meal can change when it is introduced to a new environment and how it can unite individuals from different racial and cultural backgrounds.

How The Spicy Instant Ramen – Samyang Became Popular Overseas
In Seoul, the noodle—officially known as buldak ramen—became well-known after YouTube viewers accepted the "fire noodle challenge," which calls for consuming the intensely hot cuisine as quickly as possible.
The chewy nature of the noodles makes Koreans think of topokki, a spicy rice cake snack.
On YouTube, there are over a million videos of individuals doing the fire noodle challenge. After tasting the scorching and delectable instant noodle, some people are gasping for air, rushing for a drink of water, or even sobbing.
On order to appeal to fans of spicy food, the infamous buldak ramen made its debut in the instant noodle market in 2012.
The recipe for buldak ramen required two tonnes of sauce and more than a thousand chickens, according to Kim Jung-soo, president of Samyang Food, the company that makes the dish.
The company then went for "young and audacious people who would challenge themselves with spicy instant noodle for fun," according to Won Joo-yeon, who oversees Samyang Food's instant ramen soup division.
Samyang Food continuously tries new iterations of its original recipe, including cheese, curry, mala, and carbonara, to meet consumer demand. The "very spicy buldak ramen" variety holds the record for being the spiciest instant noodle on the market.

Best Sodas To Pair With Spicy Food
Why Pair Soda With Spicy Food?
We can’t deny that most of us love spicy foods. If you want the best experience, I suggest you pair your spicy meal with a soda. You can choose from the sodas mentioned above.
You need to neutralize and cool your palette as you eat spicy food. The spice can enhance the flavor of drinks, so they should be more neutral. Soft drinks can be effective as a palette cleanser, especially traditional flavors like mango and lemon.
You can drink soda to balance the hot and spicy taste. Drinking soda allows you to enjoy the taste of your spicy foods.

The Importance of a Healthy Balanced Diet
Feeling wonderful, having more energy, enhancing your health, and elevating your mood are the main benefits of eating a nutritious diet. A person's general health and well-being depend on having a good diet, engaging in regular exercise, and maintaining a healthy body weight.

Healthy diet is crucial to your life, there is no doubt about that. If you don't keep a healthy diet for your body, you can be more susceptible to illnesses, infections, or even weariness. The significance of nourishing diet for kids needs to be emphasised in particular because failing to do so could leave them vulnerable to a number of growth and developmental issues. Diabetes, cancer, heart disease, and stroke are some of the most prevalent health issues that result from an unbalanced diet.
Physical activity helps to manage a variety of health issues and enhances mental health by lowering stress, depression, and discomfort. The metabolic syndrome, stroke, high blood pressure, arthritis, and anxiety can all be avoided with regular exercise.
It’s not just a balanced diet that’s enough but also healthy practices of eating. Some of them which you can follow are:
Eat in smaller quantities – You can achieve this by putting your food in small dishes so that your brain perceives larger servings.
Eat slowly - Eating slowly can indicate to your brain that you have consumed enough food to support your functioning rather than racing through meals in between other tasks.
Reduce your snacking - Unhealthy snacks should be avoided because they make you feel less hungry. Changing to wholesome bite-sized food can be beneficial.
Limit emotional eating because it can be very detrimental. Your health could be impacted if you use it to cope with stress, depression, or anxiety. You can combat unpleasant feelings instead by using better alternatives.

8 ways to avoid bloating after eating
1. Know the most common food triggers
Carbohydrates, fats, and proteins can all be triggers of bloating. However, certain foods may be worse than others, and digestive issues will vary from person to person. Common bloating triggers include:
• apples
• beans
• cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli, cauliflower, and cabbage
• dairy products
• lettuce
• onions
• peaches and pears
You don’t have to avoid these foods altogether. Instead, try eating one potential culprit at a time and reduce the quantity you eat if it causes any bloating. Get to know which foods in particular are causing issues.
2. Watch your fiber intake
Fibrous foods such as whole grains, beans, and legumes can be a common cause of bloating. While these foods are promoted as healthier than their refined counterparts, their high-fiber content leads to bloat in some people.
Fiber is an important part of a heart-healthy diet, but you should gradually increase the amount you eat. For example, instead of switching from refined white grains to whole grains all at once, try replacing one product at a time to see how your body reacts.
3. Put away the salt shaker
By now, you know that eating too much salt can cause a slew of long-term health problems, including high blood pressure. In the short term, an extra salty meal may lead to water retention, which causes bloating.
You can avoid excess sodium in your diet by using flavorful herbs instead of salt, and by reducing the amount of processed and packaged foods you eat.
4. Avoid fatty foods
Here’s another pitfall of high-fat meals: They take longer for your body to process. The fat moves slowly through the digestive tract, and this may cause bloat.
It also explains why your stomach feels like it wants to burst out of your clothing after a large, fattening meal, such as the traditional Thanksgiving dinner.
Not all fats are created equal though, and digestion can be different between trans, saturated, and unsaturated fats.
Pay attention to which types of fat may cause issues. If fried foods, which have saturated and trans fats, tend to cause issues, try a healthier, unsaturated fat such as avocado or nuts and seeds.
Limiting your intake of fried, processed, and refined foods can help with digestion and overall health.
5. Limit carbonated drinks
Carbonated water and soda are leading culprits for bloating in the beverage world. As you consume these drinks, carbon dioxide gas builds up in your body. This can quickly lead to bloating, especially if you drink them quickly.
Plain water is best. Try adding a slice of lemon for some flavor without the bloat.
6. Eat slowly
You may have a habit of scarfing down your food if you’re in a time crunch. You also swallow air when you do this, which can lead to gas retention.
You can beat the bloat by taking your time eating. Eating more slowly can also reduce your overall food intake, so you may find yourself tightening your belt rather than loosening it!
7. Go for a walk
There is no denying the benefits of exercise for your overall health and well-being. As an added bonus, working out can also reduce the gas buildup that contributes to bloating. A short walk can alleviate bloating after a meal, if you’re up for it.
8. Try a gas-busting supplement
Digestive enzymes help break down food and absorb nutrients. One example is the anti-gas supplement a-galactosidase, which helps prevent gas buildup from certain foods.
While they’re usually advertised to prevent belching and flatulence, these pills also can relieve bloating. Depending on the brand, you may take these supplements on a daily basis, or as needed before meals per doctor’s orders.
There are many other digestive enzymes, including amylase, lipase, and protease, that you can take as well. These help break down carbs, fats, and proteins and can be found separately or in combination products over the counter.
In addition, probiotic supplements can help regulate the good bacteria in your gut, which can decrease bloat.

How was fried chicken made?
There is no single inventor of fried chicken. And it's older than you might imagine! In 1747, English cook Hannah Glasse wrote the first fried chicken dish. The earliest records of fried chicken, however, date back thousands of years. They are from West Africa, the Middle East, and China. The meal has, nevertheless, undergone significant alteration throughout time.
The American South is where American-style fried chicken first appeared. Some individuals believe that Scottish immigrants brought the recipe. Many people think it was imported from Africa, nevertheless.
We most likely won't ever discover who created the first fried chicken in America. Without a doubt, the dish is what it is today because of the contributions of African people who were held as slaves in the US. The breading mixture had spices from West Africa. The Southern US developed a new taste as a result. The dish rose to fame quite rapidly.
Fried chicken was first sold by African American business owners, many of whom were women, as early as the 1730s. Later, others followed suit. Do you know what Kentucky Fried Chicken is? Popeyes, how about it? In the 1950s, fried chicken fast food outlets first appeared. Today, many of them are still in existence.
Fried chicken is prepared in many ways throughout the world. While many of them do not resemble American fried chicken, some of them do. Order it in South Korea, Senegal, or Japan for some delectable variations on the meal.

Did you know how ramen was invented?
Momofuku Ando created instant ramen in 1958. Ando describes strolling around the streets of saka following the end of World War II and spotting a lengthy queue of people suffering in the cold, waiting for a bowl of ramen in his biography, "The Story of the Invention of Instant Ramen" (2002). At the time, there were numerous food shortages, and Ando recalled reminding himself, "Peace will come when people have food." He decided to create a ramen dish that was affordable, wholesome, and simple to prepare.
In Ikeda, Japan, Ando experimented with various methods for manufacturing, drying, and flavouring noodles while working in a shed outside his home. He finally developed a technique for cooking noodles by coating them with chicken broth and then frying them after much experimentation. The fried noodles became moist and started to taste like chicken when Ando added boiling water to them. Production of the initial instant ramen bowl had begun. Even though Ando's product was initially more expensive than a cup of freshly made noodles, the cost subsequently decreased due to increased demand, and instant noodles quickly spread across society.
The product is still offered for sale by Ando's company, Nissin, under the brand names Top Ramen and Cup Noodles. Flavors available include beef, shrimp, and soy sauce. The Cup Noodles Museum, which has locations in Japan's Yokohama and Sasaka, honours not only noodles but also tenacity and creativity.
