She could be found, at times, at the Suffolk House of Corrections teaching interviewing skills to inmates to help them succeed in the work world upon release. Once homeless with two young children, Shellee understands how things can go wrong and never stops giving back to the community.

is a non-traditional soccer mom of twins and former Mrs. Massachusetts and Mrs. North America who competed world-wide for the Mrs. Universe title, always raising funds and support to meet needs. She is an advocate to end human s*x trafficking and for many years served as the national spokesperson for Children of the Night, an organization that works to stop child exploitation. Proceeds from her children’s book “Grandma’s Crown” benefit survivors of abuse and exploitation.
is the founder/owner/director of K Environmental Testing & Consulting, a company licensed by the state to monitor and assist developers in maintaining environmental health and safety. She built the company from the ground up, beginning with a series of construction and real estate positions while raising three children as a single parent. Now married and with a thriving business, she credits her success to hard work and staying strong and positive no matter what challenges come her way.
