Note that class will now start at 2pm and the social has been extended to one hour. This class is suitable for all levels, as Saskya will teach basic concepts but also give more advanced options for those needing a challenge.

We’re excited to announce that Saskya will be teaching a beginner forro class series starting January 6, 2024!

This class is suited for beginners with no dance experience to advanced beginners.

It can also be suited to intermediate dancers who would like to review the basics and build a more solid foundation, or those who want to learn a different role (lead or follow).

On Sunday, Rafa will teach sequences and techniques from two styles of forró, roots and universitário.

This is a great opportunity to dip your toes into forró, if you’re new to it, or build on what you already know, if you’re more experienced.

Remember that Rafa is visiting from Brazil and will only be in Washington D.C. this weekend.

So make sure to take advantage of this unique learning opportunity!
