Hurrah! first egg from our third duck Jemima 🎉

Did you know that:
🥚 duck eggs make fluffier, moister, more risen baked goods than chicken eggs
🥚 duck eggs make great custards as they contain less water than chicken eggs
🥚 gram for gram duck eggs have more protein than chicken so are great for muscle building

Thanks to Covid we couldn’t do our delivery to regulars so the eggs are stacking up!….

Can’t believe this is only 10 days worth of laying!

Don’t forget the clocks spring forward tonight so one less hour of sleep but on the plus side also means slightly darker mornings again for a while so we don’t have to get our animals up quite so early 🎉
