It's beyond comprehension that so many are screaming for help and our leaders are choosing not to listen. Choosing to look away.
It is ugly greed and cowardice. My eyes are wide open as so many others are.
We are witnessing genocide whilst the leaders get ready to dine out on the blood of dead Palestinians who fought with their hearts.

It was when I began to be able to live in my own skin, that my healing reached a whole new level.

Talking therapies can be useful, but if we have difficulties staying in our bodies and feeling how we are we can remain stuck, repeating our patterns because our nervous system is coded to repeat that which is not healed.

Connecting with my body has allowed me to know myself on a much deeper level, allowing me to trust myself and heal.

This is a consequence of childhood trauma. In order to.silence children, abusive parents/controllers heap so much shame on the child, that in the end s/he is forced to deny him/herself in order to survive.
When this happens at a young age, we have absolutely no idea we're living our lives by disassociating. It is our normal.

The current narrative is
There is allegedly a huge rise in shoplifting in UK. News is reported, often with a photo of someone surreptitiously trying to pocket food.
People are stealing food and being g shamed and criminalised for it.
Meanwhile the rich grow richer.
Has anything really changed?

The prescribing of anti-depressants is increasingly year on year, but who's really benefitting? Surely,money earned from prescribing would be better spent trying to alleviate the personal and/ or socio-economic status of the people.
Why are people 'depressed' and what does it mean? It's a blanket term for something that can overtake us...it could be fear, sadness, grief, economic insecurity, experiencing racism or abuse. Those are the issues that really need addressing, as opposing to lining the pockets of legitimate Silencers.
