I'm sure you've seen this photo floating around somewhere before. If not, let me tell you a little bit about him...He's 69 in this picture and had been a truck driver for 28 years...that's 28 years the left side of his face got sun exposure and the right side didn't. His left side has what's called dermatoheliosis...a gradual thickening of the skin due to sun exposure.
Did you know that because photodamage happens in the deepest layers of the skin—the dermis—it can take years before the damage surfaces and becomes visible? How do you want to look in ten years?

My story and my “why”...
Hi! My name is Koa Melancon. I’m a Christian, daughter, wife, mom to two girls, cross-fitter, full time employee, natural health and beauty lover, and most recently - an entrepreneur!
For as long as I can remember, I have struggled with my skin. Dry skin, redness, acne, and rosacea had all plagued me for many years. I tried countless products and skincare lines - all of which left me painfully disappointed. It wasn’t until 2 years ago when I discovered LimeLife that I saw a glimmer of hope! For the first time ever, I had found a product line that was gentle to my sensitive skin and was improving my complexion! I have used LL consistently since then and it has consistently kept my skin clear and healthy. The BEST part about it all is that I can feel good about what I’m putting on my body because LL’s skincare is natural and harsh chemical free! It’s amazing how your skin can begin to heal once you stop putting nasty chemicals on it. LimeLife skincare has been a Godsend to me!
On a separate, but equally as life-changing note- I discovered the awesomeness of LimeLife’s makeup! I had never used a foundation that covered so well, and stayed on my face all day! I started with the foundation and concealer and quickly became hooked. Fast forward to my “why”... why did I decide to become a Beauty Guide for LimeLife by Alcone? Holding down a full-time job, keeping a house, being a wife, and mom to two girls doesn’t leave me much extra time. In fact, “lack of time” is what kept me from making that leap of faith for a long time. But then I realized that lack of time was also a reason why I SHOULD take a leap and start my own business. I want time freedom. I want financial freedom. I want to spend more time with my kids! I want work flexibility. I want to not feel guilty about going to the salon or buying those boots I’ve been wanting. I also realized that my personal beliefs are right in line with this company’s mission -to empower women and help them to feel confident and beautiful in their own skin! The “sisterhood” of LL is something I truly didn’t expect and it’s one of the things I love most about this company. If I’m being completely honest, my initial “yes” came out of sheer selfish reasons - I wanted a discount on products! I quickly learned that sharing these products is not only easy, but FUN! It’s also extremely fulfilling because I am getting to witness first-hand how these products can change someone’s life! I was told in the beginning that LimeLife was “so much more than makeup and skincare”. I took that with a grain of salt, but discovered that statement couldn’t be more true!
