To cleanup leaves or to mulch leaves is the question.
Simple answer is if there are too many leaves for your grass to be healthy, then clean. Otherwise mulch.
While it is true that leaves breakdown into good topsoil and provide a small amount of fertilizer, an abundance of leaves can harm existing turf.
Keep in mind that 1 acre of grass is more efficient at filtering toxins in the environment than 1 acre of trees are.
