THE SUPREME COURT JUDGEMENT ON THE 2023 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION TRIBUNAL: INDEED THERE WAS A COUNTRY.
The gradual decay and extinction of every nation does not start with poverty and lack of basic amenities- Good leadership can fixed them in a moment.
Every great country in the world today was once very poor but good leadership turned them around.
A clear survey revealed that decay and extinction of great countries in the world start with-
(1) NEGLIGENCE OF THE RULE OF LAW.
(2) CORRUPTED LEADERSHIP.
The development and greatness of every great nation in the world was guided and anchored on the rule of law and good leadership. Reverse is the case in every underdeveloped country in the world.
The Giant of Africa has decayed to the point that even her judiciary does not believe in the RULE OF LAW!
Indeed CHINUA ACHEBE was right that there was once a country with-
-The rule of law.
- Good leadership
- When judiciary was the hope of common man
- without corrupt leaders.
- Without nepotism and tribalism.
- dignity of labour.
- justice and equity etc.
Then was Nigeria the GIANT OF AFRICA and her citizens proud of her all over the world.
If her judiciary with erudite scholars of law and the rule of law could not stand for the rule of law before unlearned corrupt leaders/politicians, then it has gone into extinction!
If her corrupt, uneducated leaders/politicians determine and interpret the law for judges, has it not gone into extinction?
When her INDEPENDENT electoral body and judiciary are captives of her corrupt leaders, has it not gone into extinction?
When her economy has so dwindled and her currency a waste paper in the international market, has it not gone into extinction?
When her name has changed from giant of Africa to headquarters of poverty and her citizens scattered all over the world insearch of greener pastures, has it not gone into extinction?
When her policies favour only her corrupted leaders, has it not gone into extinction?
Indeed, there was a country!
But dear Nigerian citizens, how can few criminals decide and determine the destiny of over 200,000,000 people?
You can take back your country!
