Why I started Hooks N Stitches

One word, anime. For myself, like others, anime was used as an escape as a child. Bad day, watch an anime. Nothing to do, anime. Isolating myself from everyone and needed something to fulfill that socialization bar, binge an anime. Shoujo, specifically. There’s an arc that involved Christmas and scarves. I thought it was the cutest idea, so I made a scarf. And now, I’ve been crafting for nearly a decade.

I’ve started my own business to share projects and ideas with both the anime and fiber art community.
