Our Joshua Moore recently finished the mechanical fit out on his largest pump system install.

"The project was riddled with delays and bad weather, but damn did it feel good to complete and get some of these photos.
Pipework is 350mm diameter in the main chamber with 500mm pipework in the valve chamber. The pumps weigh in at 687kg each and all three together will discharge 1200 litres per second. I'm immensely proud of this and everyone working alongside me. If I may say so, I believe it is a job well done."

Its a common issue for pump companies supplying packaged pump stations to have abortive site visits to commission the system as the ground worker / builder is not aware of everything we require in place prior to our arrival.

As with all site work the dangers of working with water and electricity pose severe threats to health if obvious and fundamental precautions are not taken.

Since we created our installation and pre commissioning guide we have had zero cases of abortive site attendances so any of our customers who feel this may be of benefit please get in touch.

Big pump installs for waste water, commercial and domestic potable water sets we cover the lot at PPS

Back in 2019 in preparation for Brexit, Manston airport runway was converted into a temporary lorry park which caused issues with the runoff water needing to be diverted to prevent any potential contamination on the water table.

We installed two large packaged pump stations operating off diesel generators as there was no mains power available.

The pumps are removed when the airfield is not in use, lubricated and stored. We attend regularly as required and reinstate the pumps.

The pumps are currently back in safe storage awaiting their next demand at which time we will respond in our usual prompt manor
