We have just come back from decorating our entry for the church Christmas Tree Festival! We have a theme of a garden winter wonderland graduating from red through yellow and green to white.

Look out for the gnome and his wheelbarrow and lots of wildlife as well as seasonal plants.

Please go along and vote for your favourite tree this week (times in poster at end of photos) and support the festival and all the entries!

📣Last call for decorations to put on our tree entry this weekend! 📣
Theme Wonderful Winter Wonderland
Please comment or message me to find out where to deliver, thank you 🤩

Don’t forget that in a couple weeks the (now annual) Christmas Tree Festival at St Mary’s Kemsing will be taking place! KGS won last year so we have a reputation to uphold 😂

At our recent committee meeting we decided that our theme would be “Wonderful Winter Wonderland”
❄️ 🌲 ❄️🌲❄️🌲❄️🌲❄️🌲❄️🌲❄️🌲

If you would like to provide any decorations for us to use in line with this theme that would be fantastic! Please put them in a bag or box with your name on (we will obviously return them).

They can either be delivered to me,Christie Fogden([email protected]), or to
Glen Chambers ([email protected]) by November 28th please. Please email to arrange delivery.

Many thanks

Pashley Manor Gardens - gardens to visit on the border of Sussex & Kent 24/08/2023

Hi everyone

I can’t believe how quickly the year is rushing by! It will soon be time for our Autumn show (16th September) but first we’d like to remind you about our upcoming trip to Pashley Manor Gardens which we would love to be able to do this time around…

The cancellation of the Coach trip in July was down to the take up of places being insufficient thus making it impossible to run the outing on a break even basis. Coaches are getting more expensive every year and unless we get a good response from the members the coach trip idea has a bleak future.
The committee have decided as an alternative to organize a trip to Pashley Manor Gardens on the 10th September (which is in the middle of the annual
Dahlia Festival) using shared cars to travel and sharing petrol cost between the passengers. The gardens are extensive and there will be lots to see as well as the dahlias, those who have not been before would benefit by looking on the website; (https://www.pashleymanorgardens.com/)
also there are good eating facilities outdoor and indoor. The garden is located near Ticehurst and reached by turning right at the Flimwell crossroads(traffic lights) on the A21 just past Bough Beech and the admission cost will be £14.
Any members wishing to join this trip please contact Mike Davies via email [email protected].
On the day it would be helpful if we all met up in the car park opposite the Bell
PH at 10.15 so that we can make sure that everyone who needs a lift has one.

Pashley Manor Gardens - gardens to visit on the border of Sussex & Kent Discover 11 acres of beautiful vistas - the culmination of a lifetime of passion for gardening. Tulips, roses, lilies, dahlias & more. Cafe & Gift Shop.
