Software Developers
This position will work on software projects for the organization. Software projects are centered around leftist organizing. Beginner coders welcome (Training provided). Looking for Javascript or Python.
Tasks:
Help redesign the Leftist Media Group website.
Redesign HTML and CSS formatting
Build new React components
Add updates to Python backend
Update Project Wade

Leftist Media Group is currently hiring for many positions as an unpaid internship.
The reason for no pay is that Leftist Media Group is a not-for-profit organization with no funds for staffing at this time. As the organization grows and if funding can be secured, the possibility of pay may become available but at this time, no pay is available.
Compensation will be provided in the form of a well thought out letter of reference about your work ethic, skillset, contributions, time with organization, ect..
Compensation can also be provided in non monetary ways if you have any worthwhile ideas as Leftist Media Group acknowledges the value of labor.
