I truly loved every single moment I was able to help another person in this way❤️!

With that being said, Neatly Done is temporarily “closed” as I have decided to go back to teaching this upcoming school year✏️📚.

A crafting room was created 🧶🎨🧵!

A lot of sorting happened, everything was given a designated container or shelf, and labels are coming soon.

A few switches were made with the furniture arrangement and now it seems to flow better; and there is extra room!

Cabinets are the Liatorp from and I was very impressed with the quality.

The sweetest little girl playroom got tidied up today💓.

Toddlers are like tiny tornadoes 🌪 and it can happen in a blink of an eye. The goal for today was to go through everything in this room and decide if it was keep, trash, or donate.

Once we made decisions on everything we made sure every single toy was sorted and given a designated space. Bin clips with pictures and word labels will be added to the baskets to help teach the little girl how to help with cleaning up.

And as always we discussed ways to help maintain this space going forward. Realistically, NO it won’t look like this all the time, but now there are some systems set in place that will make it easier to maintain and clean up quickly.

A few pictures from a kitchen I worked in this week.

Pull out drawers are so nice, but they can easily get very messy without the right tools in place to keep them organized. I rezoned this area for my client, added in bins and food storage containers to keep this pantry looking tidy and easy to maintain.

Simple change; big visual impact.

The Target Y Weave baskets were a perfect fit for this space.

Surprise makeovers are the best!

In December, a husband reached out to me about transforming their pantry as a gift to his wife for Christmas.

Christmas is coming and if you have kids, chances are more things are about to be added in to your home…New toys, new clothes, new things.

Last week I was able to help my client do a lot of sorting and purging in their playroom to get it under control before anything new comes in from Christmas.

My biggest organizing tip going into the holiday season is to take inventory of what is already in your home and make decisions on what gets to stay or not.
Do you use it, do you love it, would you buy it again, does it work, does it serve a purpose, does it make you happy?

A lot of people don’t enjoy the organizing process, but I do💓🧚🏻, and I’m here to help you get your space organized so you can gain control back in your home.

I absolutely love ❤️ doing what a lot of people probably don’t.

Making a room tidy and organized puts me in my happy place. It relaxes me, it’s satisfying, and it brings me joy to be able to help others with a task that they may find overwhelming or do not have time for.

My client is the absolute sweetest and I enjoy anytime I get to go to her house and help with projects. Today we got so much accomplished 🥳, 2 car loads of donations, and it felt so great! A walk in closet, the loft, and a bedroom all tidied up in 5 hours.

Sometimes all you need is someone to come in and help get you started and give guidance and then productivity begins!

The last time I was at this house the wife asked me to come back to do the pantry.
Also the husband secretly asked me the same thing because he wanted to surprise his wife😉.

Well, it didn’t end up being a surprise, but it got a transformation either way❤️.

Another pantry got the Neatly Done 🧚🏻 touch and this is why so many of the pantries I make over get this look⬇️:

My client heard about my business recently and decided that my organizing services were exactly what she wanted for Christmas this year from her husband 🎁.

Christmas came early and she was ecstatic with the transformation that happened in this space🥳🧚🏻.

I wish I would have recorded her reaction when she walked into the room because it filled me with just as much joy seeing how pleased she was with the transformation.

Phase 1 of clearing the clutter began in my clients home and together we spent all day sorting, purging, and rearranging.
This room feels like a breath of fresh air💓.

Important steps to take when organizing toys and playrooms⬇️

⭐️ Focus on one room at a time.
⭐️ Empty out everything and really evaluate if the items are in good condition, meaningful, still frequently used.
⭐️ Have boxes ready for trash, donate, and keep.
⭐️ Designate a spot for everything that is staying and create a system so that everyone who uses that space can easily learn how to maintain it.
⭐️ Label bins or use pictures for your non readers so picking up is an easy task.
