Kelp noodle pad thai with wild shrimp. Kelp noodles are an excellent source of essential minerals such as iodine, iron, magnesium, calcium and zinc. They also regulate blood sugar, help prevent bone loss and are a powerful natural anti-inflammation source. Plus, they’re mighty tasty and soak up sauce perfectly. 😘
Even if it isn’t officially summer yet, we are diving into some of our favorites! Our southern comfort bowl will have slow cooked smokey brisket (smoked tempeh for the veg version) and our freshly baked crab cakes will be accompanied with a tangy coconut lime dipping sauce and summer mango slaw!

One dish that we are particularly excited about is the kelp noodle pad thai! Kelp is a type of seaweed that is a great source of iodine (the body needs iodine to make the thyroid hormones that control the metabolism). It is also anti-inflammatory, can improve cholesterol levels, and is a rich source of vitamin K, which helps build strong bones. Those benefits aside, our pad thai hits all the take-out notes with none of the takeout quality (or, should I say, lack thereof)…
For those lucky enough to be getting the sedano salad this week, it was a pleasure to make in the kitchen yesterday! The humble celery takes center stage in this salad (sedano is celery in Italian) and is combined with dates, walnuts, celery leaves (more flavorful than the stalk), shallots and pecorino. Truly a most satisfying combination.
The menu for this week is live, featuring some truly delish and vibrant dishes! Our black bass à la nage will be gently poached in aromatics and paired with a medley of quintessentially spring vegetables (sugar snaps, favas, peas, fennel, green garlic). This dish will make you feel like you’re at some super lux spa in the middle of France, retreating away from family and friends and work to have “me time” amongst lavender bushes and lunchtime champagne.

Lunchtime! Shredded caesar salad with kale, brussels, treviso, pepitas, sunflower seeds, h**p seeds, currants, and charred chicken with hand-emulsified dressing (no blender for our caesar!) — also available with stewed chickpeas and vegan caesar for our veg-friends!

From soups, smoothies, baked goods and granola, we have tons to offer on our a la cart menu at checkout! This week, we are featuring our bruleed banana muffins with cinnamon-maca swirl. Maca is excellent at regulating reproductive hormones, helping with fertility, virility, libido and menopausal symptoms. It is definitely the sexiest superfood, no doubt, but it also increases energy and enhances mood. Get them this week as an add on to our deliciously satisfying menu above!
