Hi all,
Just an update on our next Hakomi training in person. Our next dates are Saturday and Sunday the 5th and 6th of August and these trainings can be a way of offering yourself some self-care and they also count towards becoming a Hakomi practitioner.
The August workshop will be taught by Trudy Johnston who has over 20 years’ experience as a therapist and teacher and is a practicing Therapist, Trainer and Supervisor.
The weekends are made up of experiential Hakomi practices, working as a whole group, in small groups and individually with spacious breaks.
You do not need any prior knowledge or experience of Hakomi and it is open to anyone willing to explore a mindful approach to self-understanding.
The cost is £220 (or £190 if paid on or before 07/07/23).
The times for the two days are 10am to 5.30pm on the Saturday and 1 to 7pm on the Sunday.
You can book by contacting Josh Gifford by email at [email protected]
Here are the rest of the dates for 2023:

Hi all,
Over last year Jamie Fearn and Vicky Gaughan ran our first ‘Four Phases of Hakomi’ course which was such a rich experience and we are excited to run this again. So let me tell you a little more about it:
Everywhere is in walking distance if you have the time – Steven Wright
Travel is fatal to prejudice – Mark Twain
We are offering a series of online workshops exploring the four phases of a Hakomi session. This course is for people who have had 15 days or more of Hakomi training (please speak to us if you are interested in the course but you have had less, as we are happy to discuss this with anyone who this course speaks to). We are also offering an online ‘First Steps in Hakomi’ course for those who are interested in the approach and are wanting to learn more an have less experience (see below for details).
There are many different ways to approach Hakomi. Even though it’s called a method we don’t work methodically. Hakomi is a sensitive, spacious and creative way to be with another and it invites these qualities to take root in both ourselves and the person/s we are sitting with. A Hakomi session can be seen at the same time, as a journey and nowhere to get to. There are many maps to guide us in travelling this paradoxical, mysterious path. The map we’ll use during this online offering is called the four phases of a Hakomi session.
Your Facilitators: Vicky Gaughan has over thirty years in professional practice and over sixty years of human being practice. Jamie Fearn has over twenty years’ experience in education practice and over ten years of Hakomi.
Dates: Saturday 24th June, Saturday 9th September, Sunday 10th December 2023 and Saturday 24th February 2024.
Time: 10am – 5.30pm BST/GMT
Cost: £340 if paid by 26th May after this date it will be £380. Please speak to us for our instalment schedule if required.
All hours count towards the Hakomi training.
Please note that the booking is for all four days as a series.
For more information or to book a place contact Jamie Fearn by email: [email protected]
Cancellation policy: Please note, once you have made your booking should you need to cancel, a refund will be given minus an admin charge of £15. If your cancellation is received with less than 14 days notice we cannot refund any fees (unless we can find someone to replace you). In the event that we cancel then a full refund will be given.
We also have another online course: First Steps in Hakomi is a four day online course which is great introduction to the method if you've not experienced it before and is open to anyone. We will cover four foundational concepts: self-study, spacious mind, loving presence and seeing deeply.
Dates: Sunday 11th June, Saturday 22nd July, Saturday 2nd September, Sunday 8th October 2023
Times: 10am – 5.30pm BST/GMT
Cost: £380 or £340 if booked and paid in full by the 13th May. An instalment schedule is available if required.
Booking: contact Vicky Gaughan at [email protected]
You can access further information about the events through my page and the June event that starts our Four Phases course is here: https://www.facebook.com/events/251945693890959/ although you do not need Facebook in order to attend.

👉In this video, Hakomi trainers Caroline Braham and Bettina Deuster share their thoughts on the beauty and uniqueness of Hakomi.
This summer, Hakomi Estonia hosts two in person events that Caroline and Bettina will run together:
🔸On June 2-4, the Hakomi workshop "Exploring Close Relationship Dynamics in a Hakomi Way", where you are welcome both with a partner and alone. The exploration will be to discover how habitual conditioning influences the way we relate to the people in our life.

🔸On July 24-28, the Hakomi summer camp "Befriending Shame". In this retreat we will be recognizing and welcoming the experience of shame. Hakomi offers ways to deactivate shame and bring us back into connection.
