Many Japanese people utilize kanikama (imitation crab) to make bento dishes, handrolls, appetizers, and more!​​​​​​​​

Commonly made out of starch and finely pulverized white fish, it is shaped and cured to resemble the leg meat of snow crab! The texture and flavor of these kanikama is perfect when combined with Japanese mayo and used as a topping for sushi rolls, handrolls, and appetizers!​​​​​​​​
