And here we are in another new month. In a world of strawberries all year round, did you know the list of seasonal produce at it's best in March is also pretty rich?

On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11 month, we remembered them.
But as we head towards the other 11th hour in the day, we ask please to gather memories of a different kind as we bid a farewell to one of our time served, kitchen hardened, daylight starved chefs.
If you've met Boh, I virtually guarantee you'll never have forgotten him and today marks his last shift with us at AWOL as he moves on to retirement.
Boh: go safe, party hard, live well and thank you.

This week, we're taking a moment to wish Chris Bury's family all our best as they deal with his loss. Chris worked hard and partied harder. He will be greatly missed by all who met him and even more so by those who knew and loved him. Our thoughts are with his family further afield and his friends.

We start this week with some sad news. For those of you who met or knew him, we're deeply sorry to know that Chris Bury passed on last week. Our thoughts are with his wife Edna, his family and his friends. We hope you can party even harder on the other side. At AWOL we're raising several glasses in your honour.
