Ceffyl Dŵr is a water horse from Welsh folklore. It may take solid form, then disappear as quickly. It's name comes the words horse (ceffyl) and dŵr (water).

A dual-headed serpent from greek mythology.

It's said to be living in the desert, eating ants and corpses.

Capricorn is an astrological sign often represented by the sea goat, a creature half goat, half fish. Since bronze age it has been used as a symbol of the Capricornus constellation.

Simurgh is a powerful birdlike hybrid creature appearing in Persian, kurdish, georgian and other folklores. According to the Iranian legend, it has seen the end of the world three times.

The fire bird may appear in the face of a great struggle. Finding it's feather may be a premonition of a difficult journey.

I think now this painting is even more relevant, since it makes me think the war in Ukraine and the brave people there.

It's been really hard to read all the news lately but still try and keep on with normal daily tasks 😔 What's happening in Europe right now is affecting all of us europeans. I feel like big things are currently in motion and it's hard to say where it will take us.

From the bottom of my heart I wish for this war to end 😿 AND THAT WE ALL GET RID OF PUTIN!!!! As soon as possible!!!! Despite being souther than Finland I feel like Ukrainians are our neighbours: we share VERY similar history.

I adore these funny and playful dogs so much! 😍 I gave it wings because when they run, it looks like they're flying 🌬

I will be printing this in a larger size, but for now I put this 25x25cm / 10x10in print in some light wooden frames 😊

I've never really made text art and it shows 😂
Since my new year's goal was to read my unfinished books, I'm thinking of painting some phrases every time I finish one 😄

The second half of the year in my italian courses have begun, and I'm so glad to get to continue with this amazing language! 😇 I'm still so far away from being able to communicate properly, but I'm trying you guys! 🙊 My next move is probably to find a study group of some kind - if you got tips, they are appreciated!

To explain this picture:
There's a italian phrase often used: "in bocca al lupo" (to the wolf's mouth) and you're supposed to answer: 'crepi!' (You die!). But our teacher told us to answer Viva il lupo if you like animals 😹 I thought that was funny!

Part of my series of dog paintings, this time I painted the labrador!

At first I struggled to like this piece, and after being mad I gave up on it. Couple months later I found it again, and actually liked it 😂

I printed this work on 20x20 cotton base, and I think the colours turned out nicely!

Hi all! How has your year started out?

Lately I've been feeling kind of conflicted about my art. Held back by self-criticism and the feeling of insufficiency.
I want to share things that bring me joy, but somewhere in my brain lives this voice constantly bugging me and saying I'm not good enough.
I'm sure some of you can relate as well. Maybe it's a necessary part of creativity, in moderation at least.

Instead of ignoring my feelings I wanted to give myself permission to let go from the past a little bit and strenghten my style, media pages, and try to change my mindset around designing and creating. This is why I cleared my page, but worry not, I'll be uploading my past favourite pieces in addition to my newest works.

So hopefully you will enjoy my journey ☀️ Thank you for being awesome! You guys give me inspiration every day 😽💛
