🚨Oregon Health Authority is asking for public comment on OAR 333-019-1015 and 333-019-1030, regarding masks and vaccination policies. It sounds like they are seeking comment on potentially revising, amending, or removing all or parts of the school masking requirement and vaccination requirements for teachers.
This is the text of the email:
“Under the Administrative Procedures Act, the Oregon Health Authority (OHA), Public Health Division has received petitions to amend OAR 333-019-1015, Masking Requirements in Schools; and petitions to repeal OAR 333-019-1030, COVID-19 Vaccination Requirements for Teachers and School Staff.
In accordance with state law, OHA is inviting public comment on the rules, including whether options exist for achieving the rule's substantive goals in a way that reduces the negative economic impact on businesses. OAR 137-001-0070(3).
You are invited to submit written comments on the above referenced rules. Comments may be filed before 5:00 p.m. PDT on May 31, 2022, to the Public Health Division Rules Coordinator at [email protected]. Comments received after the deadline will not be considered.
