It’s been little quiet on the beading front as house and garden renovations have been taking up a lot of time. However that doesn’t mean that all the beads have been packed away I had to occupy myself while the Euros and then the Olympics have been taking up screen time!
The Christmas Project… coming along nicely 🎅🏻

Here we are all set up at Plympton Library. Pop along and see us, there is a lot going on as it’s May Fair day too!

What’s a girl to do when the chosen necklace doesn’t have a suitable pair of earrings? Raid the bead stash and rustle up a quick pair.. all set for a night out 😁
Necklace was a broken vintage find that only needed a small repair!

Definitely a UFO ( unfinished objects) sort of day!
Adding fringe to these pennants before joining them and adding the netting to go on a bauble. Another design by Deb Moffett-Hall to add to my growing collection!

Approximately 35mm ( golf ball) size in lots of colours and designs. Something to suit anyone.

Today has been a bit of a change from beading…. Christmas stocking production line. Just the tops to cut then the sewing can begin.
This years crop of baubles is coming along nicely too.. keep looking for a sneak peak! 🎄

Fat finger trouble today… I only wanted one pot of beads and ended up with 100g 🤭🎄

Well here we are at the end of October and production of this year’s baubles is underway. Come and see Kelly and I at Millbrooks Christmas Market on the 3rd of December, there will be plenty of sparkles and Christmas goodies on show!

This is Mt Edgcumbe Christmas offering for this year. It’s really sad that the ChristmasFayre of years past isn’t happening and most of the traders who would have been involved in that aren’t included in this event ☹️

Well the wait is finally over. The eyes are sorted and I’m filling in the booking form for Millbrook’s Christmas Market. Better get the beads out and get going with the production of all things sparkly 🎄

Things have been extremely quiet on the Glitterbug front this year due in part to my ongoing problem with cataracts which hopefully will be resolved next week 👏👏👏.
It has been a very frustrating Summer not being able to get the beads out or do any sewing and as there is no Mt Edgcumbe Christmas Fayre this year motivation has been a bit lacking too ☹️
I am currently looking to see if there might be a local Christmas Fayre so that I can spread a bit of Glitterbugs festive sparklyness this year!
Keep following and we’ll see what happens. ☺️

Very sad that this year there won’t be a Christmas Fayre at Mt Edgcumbe ☹️ Don’t worry you will still be able to get your bauble fix, I just have to get a bit more tech savvy and get out there!
Mt Edgcumbe will be back in 2024!

So sad to see that one of my suppliers of sparkly lovelyness is closing its doors.

Getting to grips with the new machine but sometimes the 1939 Singer 99 is the only machine for the task at hand!

The beads have been packed away while I get to grips with the new sewing machine Santa brought me. Watch out for some new projects on the way!

Just a few of the baubles on the Glitterbug tree this year. As you can see it’s a riot of colour and home to some of the experimental patterns I try each year. This year I seem to have an interloper helping or hindering…..
