Love and gratitude for all the volunteers, businesses and attendees that came and contributed your time, efforts, hearts and resources.
The fire relief survivors and centers were so grateful for our deliveries yesterday. It was a humbling honor to represent our beautiful vegan community's generosity. People expressed an interest in veganism. One center is even open to vegan cooking demos!
We especially want to thank S+M Vegan, this was all you!! We celebrate your ability to draw the community together by your profound compassion, perseverance and mind blowing cuisine, .
A Well-Fed World, you all made this possible and inspirational. You're the best.
We hope you'll join us for the rescheduled Inclusivity Conference, so we can Prioritize Harm Free(dom) for our Future, together. (Please like our page to keep in touch.)
In solidarity,
Vegan Leadership

Crowdfunding tips?
We were hoping registrations would cover our basic costs, but we know that people register closer to time.
Right now, we're at $756.00 and we need about $6K to cover everything effortlessly.
Please email us, if you plan to register. So we can plan accordingly. Soon we'll be posting a wish list.
In the meantime, please register, DONATE if can't come and believe in this effort.
Let us know if you have private resources we could look into. We are looking to avoid corporate or non-profit org requiring "sponsorship" announcement. We want to keep it grassroots. Thanks!

A. Breeze Harper: Critical Race, Decolonial, & Black Feminist Theorist
Whether or not you can make it to the Inclusivity Conference, we have so much to learn from our sister Dr. A. Breeze Harper. Please support her work by participating this Saturday in her virtual event and by contributing to new book Black Mama Scholar: On Black Feminism, Food Ethics,Toddlers.
In a delightful and humorous, yet deeply critical talk, Dr. A. Breeze Harper will ruminate on the past 12 years of her activism and scholarship as well as read excerpts from her upcoming book Black. Mama. Scholar: On Black Feminism, Food Ethics, and Toddler Tantrums in a 'Post-Racial' Era (formerly titled Recipes for Racial Tension Headaches). Get ready for a different side of A. Breeze Harper, PhD, as she uses a fusion of satire and critical race feminism to explore just how "post-racial" we are-- in veganism and beyond.
This is a fundraising event for the Sistah Vegan Project. Register for the Live Lecture with Q&A by going to the offical page of the event: http://www.sistahvegan.com/bms/
