Gaines Family Civil War History
I am a proud descendent of Gaines Family ancestry that has connection to Gaines Mill Battlefield.
When looking in 3rd Generation for my ancestors cousins is so easy making my family charts like this then I can pin point out who served in the Confederate and Union military during the Civil War. So I had many resources to get from threw ancestry, find a grave and familysearch which is free. Also most accurate. Find a Grave isn't the best because it not listed all the children etc.
On TMC all the Gaines family ancestry is dated to the Knight at Aincort 1415 Davy Gamy his name is read by the King Henry of the casualty list of the battle. This film was made in 1944. Based on the William Shakespeare
play.
