But the fact is that these politicians have a seat on the table where decision for us are made. The person who takes this seat on the table should be chosen wisely and by people who they’re speaking for.

Today is National Sorry Day, commemorating the ongoing pain of the Stolen Generations.

They were stolen from their families, communities and culture.

Saying sorry is important, but we match our words with deeds. Today is also 6 yrs since the Uluru Statement from the Heart called for constitutional recognition + a Voice.

Wondering how our SPECIAL ANZAC DAY GUNFIRE BREAKFAST will work?
🌺It will start straight after the Dawn Service back at the club.
🌺Egg & Bacon Rolls will be $2ea. You will need to first get a ticket from one of the purchase points (there will be one in the car park and one in front of the poppy wall inside). Then simply collect your roll from either the bistro or function room
🌺Eftpos will be available but cash is preferable
🌺There will also be stations set up with complimentary tea, coffee and juice
🌺We plan to run it until 9am.
A HUGE thank you to Lions Club of Shepparton, Shepparton South Rotary Club & Kiwanis Club of Shepparton Sunrisers for will be up bright and early to fire up the BBQs and cook up a storm!
