In a blink of an eye, lives were lost, health was compromised, investments were greatly affected. These fast-paced and heart-wrenching events brought especially by this pandemic are more than enough to invade our mental peace and drain our energy.

But now, let us remind ourselves once again to pause and take a breath. Let us remind ourselves that we are all valid regardless of our emotions, our productivity, or how others expect us to be. Let us remind ourselves that we deserve inner peace, happiness, comfort, and assurance. And, let us remind ourselves that we ultimately deserve to feel loved in our imperfectness and genuinely live our lives because we are important after all.

From the moment we entered this institution, you have never failed to show us how worthy we are to be in this school through your warmth and kindness.

We are so grateful for your never-ending passion to teach us, future medical professionals, all that you know. Especially now, in this pandemic, we recognize all your hard work to make ends meet not only for us, but for your families as well.

MARKKA has been around since 2016 and has greatly influenced so many lives. As a student organization that has inspired positivity to its members, we have interviewed three former members of the organization and featured them for the last day in our Club Awareness Week 2021-2022 🥳. Upon reading their answers, we hope that the recent and future MARKKA members gain inspiration to serve the student body and their fellow org-mates 🙏.
