Ramsey Nouah!

Having a vision and the ability to carry it out is a huge flex - an actor director is a significant part in the success of an any stellar movie.

We present to you, an actor director of his own class, lover boy turn villain.

His name is - Ramsey Nouah.

Ramsey Nouah is a Nigerian Actor - one of the very finest that we can brag about.
"...do you know Ramsey Nouah is Nigerian? Yeah and I'm Nigerian too."

By the age of 23, he was seen in Fortunes (from 1993 to 1994) which was a smash hit. Captivating the viewers with his performance as Jeff (a name he is widely called in Nigeria), he instantly rose to fame and became one of the most recognised face in the Nigerian entertainment industry. He has starred in numerous movies like Silent Night, Dangerous Twins, Figurine to mention a few. His face was on numerous movie posters and this made him an African household name that won't be forgotten for his immense contribution to the African entertainment industry at large.
He is often regarded as one of Africa's greatest actor of all time. With an amazing talent and acting range, he has managed to remain new and fresh even after more than two decades in the industry. He has won numerous awards for his acting and contribution to the African entertainment industry in Nigeria and around the world.
He is a one of the few active pioneers and ambassador of the laudable Nigerian movie industry also known as Nollywood. His burning desire to add to the creative growth of Nollywood
and African cinema led to his founding a movie production company called Ramsey films.

Things you probably never knew about Ramsey Nouah as a Director.
📍 Ramsey has directed a couple of award winning films including africa magic's 'the last caller'
📍 He also directed the remake of nollywood's classic 'living in bo***ge -breaking free' and won the AMVCA Best Director Award 2020.
📍 He was also responsible for Rattlesnake - the ahanna story as the Director, among many others.

"It all starts from the Producer - no producer, no film!"

Allow us to introduce; a producer who makes big films with small money and makes big money in return.

A producer who has a firm grasp of the workings of the movie industry, and has coached, mentored and impacted young filmmakers with this knowledge garnered through experience.

His name is; Chris Odeh.

Everybody say Gba-gba!!

He was not just a facilitator but the lead facilitator for this program. For the love of this vision to impact 200 Niger Deltan youths, he gave himself.

He won the best producer award for the movie, "living in bo***ge", he produced the movie, "love, lust and other things" co-starring Osas Ighodaro and Ramsey Nouah. There is a lot to say but allow us mention 3 things you probably never knew about Chris Odeh.

📍 He has caused a massive shift in in the Nigerian entertainment industry among young filmmakers by pioneering intensive filmmaking Master Classes consecutively; MasterClass with Chris Odeh.
📍 To prove his salt, his students have gone ahead to produce films all over the world; emerging as the new face of the Nigerian entertainment industry. Watch out!
📍 He recently produced "tokunbo" which is set to come to Netflix in 2024. Set your calendars, of course it's going to blow your minds, Chris Odeh produced it.

"Every film on paper is like a foetus in the womb, yet to be born - the life it has is dependent on the health of the mother."

So is a director to every film.

We present to you; a director who has mastered the basic tenets of nurturing a film from conception to delivery without deformation.

Her name is Dorah Shane.

Things you probably never knew about Dorah Shane.
📍 She is a Jawlywood director known for her brilliance in the conception and ex*****on of multiple films.
📍 She directed different films some of which are; "The Exes" and "ABC not Simple".
📍 She has expertise in directing documentaries and short videos.

"It is the actors who translate a story on paper to a story on screen - the existence of a film is dependent on the actors therein."

We present to you, an actress par excellence who has woven in her art the spirituality of acting.

Her name is - Munachi Abii.

Munachi Abii is a Nigerian rapper/hip-hop artist, songwriter, television presenter model, and actress who performs under the name Muna.

Things you probably never knew about Munachi Abii;
1. She is the winner of Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) 2007.
2. Muna was one of the female rappers to feature and represent Nigeria on the globally televised BET Cypher for the BET Awards in 2011, and in April 2012, Muna released two singles Here To Stay and Down Down Low.
3. She has acted in a number of film projects namely; living in bo***ge, finding hubby and obsession.

Her name is - Munachi Abii.

Meet our FACILITATOR for CINEMATOGRAPHY

"If it was only about handling cameras, we would all be cinematographers..."

To tell a story with words is one thing, to tell a story on screen is another - as long as it's not a stage play, the brilliance of every film is dependent on the creativity of the cinematographer.

We present to you, a creative screen storyteller who has mastered the art of storytelling through his enigmatic shots.

His name is - KC OBIAJULU.

He is a Nigerian cinematographer based out in Lagos, Nigeria. He has been working for over 14 years in the film industry having graduated film school in 2011.

Things you probably never knew about KC OBIAJULU.
1. He was the brain behind some of Nollywood's most impressive projects such as Knockout Blessing, Shaping Us, Over the Bridge, Glamour Girls, 3 Cold Dishes and more.
2. He has also worked on music videos filming some of Afro beats most iconic videos of recent years such as; Essence by Wizkid ft Tems, Monsters you made by Burna Boy, Mayana and Oceans by Asa, and Davido's video of the year winner 1 Milli, and many more.
3. He has a unique narrative style of filming and this has made him a household name in the industry.

His name is - KC Obiajulu.

Meet our sound facilitator - DARE SANUSI

"When doctors check for life, they listen for the sound of the heartbeat. Sound is proof of life - the life of every story is dependent on the soundness of the sound producer."

We present to you; a brilliant sound producer who tells stories through sound - Dare Sanusi.

Dare Sanusi is a film and TV producer and an expert location sound mixer. He is the head of productions in sozo films and has worked on so many film projects.

Things you probably never knew about Dare Sanusi;
1. He was the line producer for 'love, lust and other things' which was directed by Chris Odeh and directed by Kayode Kasum.
2. He is one of the associate producers for the Netflix movie 'tokunbo' coming to screen in 2024.
3. He is the producer responsible for the film, 'man in the mirror'.

His name is - Dare Sanusi.

"The process is as important as the result - the finished product of every film is dependent on the intelligence of the editor."

We present to you; an editor who has learnt to stick to the process in order to deliver excellent results in film.

His name is - Jeremiah Ogbe.

Jeremiah Ogbe is an African film, Tv, Documentary filmmaker, An artistic fellow with a creative outlook with more than seven years of experience with several feature length films, talk shows, TV commercials, Documentary films and the list goes on.

His film credits include Voiceless, Living in Bo***ge, Rattlesnake, Nneka the pretty Serpent, Aki and Paw paw, Before Valentine, Foofoo, The Nancy Isime Show, Tegan Mosugu Show and so on.

MEET OUR FACILITATOR FOR SCREENWRITING

Thecla Uzozie

The beauty of a story is dependent on the storyteller. We present to you - A brilliant writer who intricately weaves her stories in a pattern unique to her.

Her name is - Thecla Uzozie.

There are a few things you probably didn't know about her.
1. She's an actor par excellence who graduated as the best acting student in the ebonylife creative academy after her role as Halimat in the mind-blowing short film.
2. She has starred in other films including collide by Myde Glover as one of the female protagonists.
3. Not only is she a brilliant screenwriter, she also wrote "the bride price", "tokunbo" and many other plays.

MEET OUR FACILITATOR for Set Design

"JOY KADIRI"
..Stories are not only told with words - until the perfect world is created, the storyteller would struggle to tell the story...

We present to you; an Art Director and Production Designer of her own class who is passionate about giving life and color to every story by creating the perfect world, and uses her set to tell the stories.

Her name is - Joy Kadiri

There are a few things you probably didn't know about her.
1. She's an Art Director per excellence who graduated as a thespian.
2. She is the brain behind the art Direction in the blockbuster film, "brotherhood" and was with the production design team of the classic Nollywood film, "gangs of Lagos" and lots more.
3. She has a team of her own and has worked as an art director for many music videos under the name; kharaworld creatives.

Once again, congratulations to all nominees.
