In honor of Thanksgiving, command teams across the installation served a warm meal to trainees and students spending the holiday season on Fort Moore throughout the week.
We know it's not the same as spending the holiday with their actual families, but trainees are always thankful to share a meal with their Army family!

On this day in 1942, Allied forces launched an invasion into North Africa known as .
It involved U.S. Army with 1st Infantry Division, 3rd Infantry Division, 9th infantry Division, 34th Red Bull Infantry Division, 1st Armored Division, 2nd Armored Division, 509th Parachute Infantry Regiment, and 1st Ranger Battalion.
🇺🇸 with 509th would even conduct the 's first combat jump during , flying more than 1500 miles from England to Algeria.

: More than 600 future service members raise their right hand to answer the call to join the U.S. Military at the Atlanta Falcons Call to Service game yesterday.
The Atlanta Falcons welcomed future and current U.S. service members to their Call To Service event to help highlight the career opportunities provided by the U.S. Military. While the rest of the NFL is having their Salute to Service events, the Atlanta Falcons decided to take it a step further and create the Call To Service event. The change is aimed at recognizing and honoring the brave service men and women in the U.S. Armed Forces as well as inspiring others to learn the benefits of joining the military. :

Today is the National Day of the Deployed.
This day honors all service members who have been deployed in service of our country. The day also acknowledges the sacrifices that military families make during deployment.
To honor those who have been deployed use today to let them know you're thinking of them!
