Today marks 3 years since I started my lash journey and I wouldn’t want it any other way.
On November 29th, 2020 I took a lash course and started to work right after under the studio I did my course with. I started lashing as a side hustle to earn an extra income during COVID until I realized I loved what I was doing and wanted to pursue it full-time and give it my all.

This industry has taught me a lot. It Taught me how to be consistent with what I love and taught me not to give up on my dreams and most importantly how to enhance one's natural beauty.

Becoming a lash artist has been a journey but also a big accomplishment for me. Trust me when I say there were A LOT of moments I wanted to quit but with the encouragement of my family and friends I knew I had to keep going. Because of them, I am more than grateful/ thankful for their support in helping me be where I am today.

On December 9th, 2022 - just 2 years later working under a studio, I decided to open up my studio on my own. I poured my heart and love for lashing and it has been one of the best decisions I have made. I am extremely grateful for the clients I have been able to impact and also want to give a big thank you to every single one of you that have trusted me and followed me to where I am today 🤍

Without thse who have trusted me to enhance their natural beauty, none of this would have been possible!

I just want to reintroduce myself to my new followers 🤍

Hi, my name is Andrea Cunha. I am 21 years old, I was born and raised in Miami. I am a licensed and Certified Full Specialist. I have been a lash tech for almost two years now.

My journey of loving cosmetology started when I was just 8 years old from watching my mother work, who is also a Licensed Esthetician. I would love to go to the salon where my mother worked and enjoyed doing young girl's nails, even my own and a lot of times my relatives. Throughout the years I’ve still had the passion for it but never decided to go for it since my long-life dream has been to become a nurse.

During, the pandemic I graduated high school at John A Ferguson, and proceeded to Miami Dade College to continue with my long-life dream of becoming a nurse, I did two semesters and gave it a pause since I had too much going on.

I got licensed to earn an extra income, since hours got cut down from work, but couldn’t get going in the industry until months later when I saw Melissa was having a class for Classic Eyelash Extensions. At that moment, I decided to give it an opportunity and started doing lashes officially in November of 2020.

In just 7 months I decided it was time to make a change from my 9 to 5 office job and continue pursuing my passion to dedicate myself full time to making women feel confident and beautiful, with the help of Lashhouzz! I couldn’t have started my dream without them and of course with the help of my big sister, Paola, and her husband. As they paid for my course and allowed me to grow, not only As a person but in my career. Couldn’t have done it without them 💕

I truly cannot express how proud I am of the choice I made to become a full-time lash tech! I’m currently back pursuing nursing to follow my next step in life for you girls. 🤍
