Took our 2 large black hogs and 1 goat to the processor yesterday. Hanging weight on the hogs were 348 # and 380 # Going to have fresh hog meat for sale soon. $5/lb. I’m going to make up 20 # variety packs that will include bulk ground, boneless chops, pan sausage and 1 Boston butt roast.

We woke up to a little excitement on the farm! One of our young first time does decided to have a kid stuck while trying to give birth! We were able to save him and momma with the help of our local vet Kurt Kainer @ Weimar Vet Clinic.
He has some awesome color and will make someone a colorful breeding buck one day.

Due to unforeseen circumstances my hog were not able to go to the processing facility on 4/28/2021. I have a new date of 5/20/2021. If you or your family want the chance to fill your freezer with hog meat, let me know. This hog breed (Large Black) is 300+ pounds and sure to supply you with quality meat and lard. Buy a whole......Buy a half.....Split any combination of the two with friends and family. Message me for details. $7/lb. hanging weight.

First Kid of the 2021 season!
We have 11 dozen eggs available if anyone needs them. $3/dozen.
I also have 2 dozen duck eggs for all you bakers out there! Your baked good will be fluffier and ducks eggs are just a bit richer than chicken eggs. Duck eggs are $5/dozen.

Large Black Hogs are filling out! Got these guys in mid August @ about 8 weeks old. I would estimate that they are about 175-180 pounds now.
