God did not make death, and he does not delight in the death of the living. Amidst our hardships, it's crucial to focus on Christ's promise of a full and meaningful life. By embracing faith, kindness, and unity, we can overcome challenges and experience the true abundance Christ offers.

On Behalf of the good people of Quaan Pan North Constituency, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, the Governor of Plateau State, on the occasion of his one-year anniversary in office. I commend the Governor for his unwavering integrity, his dedication to fulfilling promises, resoluteness, steadfastness and unwavering determination in the face of adversity, his implementation of policies that prioritize the welfare of our citizens. I am particularly impressed by the significant transformation that we have witnessed across all sectors of the state's economy under his leadership.I affectionately describe the Governor as a God-sent leader, and I sincerely pray that he continues to lead our state with the same passion and commitment, for the next 7years from now. I am confident that under his guidance, Plateau State will continue to progress and overcome the challenges of Insecurity, stagnation, poverty, and backwardness.

I was delighted to attend the cultural and food carnivals organized by our highly promising youths, specifically the Doemak Youth Development Association, Jos Branch, held at the Plateau Hotel Rock Garden, and the one organized by the Students Union Government of Plateau State Polytechnic, held at Jos Campus. During these events, I reiterated my strong support for our youth. The younger generation is a crucial part of our society, I encouraged them to preserve and take pride in their cultural heritage, carry forward their initiatives, and safeguard these traditions for the benefit of future generations.

Earlier today, as the chairman, I led the Committee on Parastatals and World Bank Projects on a familiarization tour to the Plateau State Independent Electoral Commission (PLASIEC), Jos Metropolitan Management Board (JMDB), Plateau State Muslim Pilgrims, and Plateau State Christian Pilgrims. During these visits to the various Parastatals, we reaffirmed our commitment to enacting the necessary legislation and assured them of the committee's readiness to pursue and enhance a positive working relationship that will foster development in Plateau State.
