What is Pe******ia?

Pe******ia is a psychiatric disorder in which an adult or older adolescent experiences a prima inry or exclusive s*xual attraction towards children/a child.

Who is a child?

A child is anyone below the age of 18. Also note that children are gifts from God and He expect us as earthly guardians to take proper Care of each and every one of them.

One of our major duties is to keep them away from this phycarist patients called pe*****le.

There are different ways children can be abused. Below are some:

Child Molestation is also known as child s*xual abuse. It is a secret crime involving a range of indecent s*xual activities between an adult and a child.

Studies show that over 95% of s*xually abused children are abused by persons known or close to the child or the child's family.

ABUSERS ARE MOSTLY NOT STRANGERS.

They are right there in your house, co-tenants, family members, lesson teachers, neighbours. Their friends in school, hostel, classmates,class/school teachers, cousins, uncles, nephew, niece, fathers, step fathers, grand fathers, imams, choir masters, pastors, confidants, security guard, maids, family /school drivers, After school teachers , teachers, mummy's friend, daddy's friend, caregivers, strangers........ the list can go on.

Please, do not ask if any of the above is possible because, there is no case of any of the above that has not happened.

*CAUSES OF CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE*

Parental negligence, carelessness, non- challant attitude.
It is as bad as No one can be trusted.

We have a child presently carrying a baby that belongs to her father.

*OTHER CAUSES:*
Absentee parents.
Parents who do not observe.
When the kids are not informed.....
What you watch with your kids.
Indecent dressing by our children.

Befriending and establishing an emotional connection with a child, and sometimes the family, to lower the child's inhibitions with the objective of s*xual abuse. -Wikipedia-
Gaining the trust of a minor with the intention of having s*x relationship with them.

*HOW TO IDENTIFY A POSSIBLE ABUSER:*
A. Always trying to be around your child or vice versa
B. Child feels uncomfortable when he/she sights the abuser or when the abuser is around.
C. Easily and conveniently accept to care for your child while you are away.
D. Can be hard on the child especially if the child is rejecting his moves.

If any of the above is observed, please, shine your eyes. Or sometimes, your child might feel uncomfortable/rejecting to go to the person when you send him or her Or even go for holiday.

Sexual abuse happens among sibblings, set rules, separate their rooms, separate their beds.

We had a case of twins having s*x with each other. When they were asked, they said: we see mum and dad do same.

Why should we be that careless?

Because of the carelessness of both parents, their innocent minds were polluted and their lives were destroyed.

I am profoundly grateful for the many kind messages sent and gifts given to celebrate my birthday. While I am unable to individually acknowledge and respond to each and every birthday messages, I wish to thank each and everyone that sent them using different platforms and methods.

The Agege Born Business mogul and Philanthropist, Ambassador Omodele Adebola, earlier today, reach out to widow's in Agege, Lagos, ahead of his birthday anniversary tomorrow, Thursday, May 30, 2024.

The Convener, Bola Omodele Foundation (BOF), was joined by well-meaning Agegeians at the auspicious ceremony, who wished him well for all his efforts at developing talents across the sub-saharan coasts.

The occasion witnessed the distribution of over millions of naira cash gifts to widows and widowers across Agege and Orile-Agege.

In his speech, at the occasion, Ambassador Omodele thanked well-meaning Agegeians from all walks of life who came to celebrate with him. He said "I am glad that God in His infinite mercy has shown me love.

“I am happy to celebrate my new age with my people and what I have done today gives me joy in a special way, because I am able to bring smiles to those that need it most.

"This gesture is in line with my annual outreach in commemoration of my birthday celebrations. Last year, I celebrated with the pupils of Oyewole Primary School, Agege, as I built four units of toilet, dug borehole and donate power generating set, as a way of given back to my alma mater. But this year, God laid it in my heart to celebrate with widows and widowers.

"I don't have much but kindly accept my little donation. Thank you for receiving me and my team with open arms and also for your prayers, as well as birthday wishes", the celebrant said.

In his keynote address at the occasion, the Director General of Bola Omodele Foundation (BOF), Alhaji Idris Bamgboye eulogized Ambassador Omodele Adebola for his contribution to the development of mankind, through the foundation of a non-governmental organization that was founded on decades ago.

HRM Oba Ambaliu Agbedeyi, Alaige of Orile-Agege Kingdom, commended, Ambassador Omodele Adebola for his commitment to uplifting lives, stating, “It’s not how long you live but how well. Ambassador Omodele Adebola has demonstrated this essence of life.”

He also highlighted Adebola’s choice to celebrate in Agege as a testament to the community's progress and his dedication to supporting students, the widows, widowers, youths and the vulnerable.

Oba Agbedeyi also acknowledged the current economic hyper-inflation challenges and praised Ambassador Adebola’s contribution of over millions of naira cash gifts to widows and widowers as an unprecedented display of his humanity service to mankind.

HRM Oba Kamila Isiba, Olu of Agege Kingdom, joined hundreds of beneficiaries in celebrating the birthday anniversary of Ambassador Omodele Adebola.

He also commended, Ambassador Adebola’s scholarship scheme to vulnerable students, emphasizing the importance of inclusive development towards education.

The beneficiaries applauded the celebrant for identifying with them, stressing that theplllll gesture would go a long way considering the current austerity measures the country is facing.

I commiserate with the family of our Distinguished leader Rt. Hon. (Dr) Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa, the Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly, on the passing of their Father, who transited unto glory.

I want to condole the children of the departed, most especially, Rt. Hon (Dr) Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa, and urged them to take solace in the fact that their patriarch lived a meaningful life that touched many lives.

The loss was an irreparably loss not only to the Obasa family but Agege Local Government Area, Lagos at large and beyond.

On behalf of myself, family and Foundation, I pray that Almighty God grants Pa Sulaimon Atanda Obasa eternal rest, and gives the family behind the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.

May 30th Countdown: The Helu Touch; The Secret Behind Ambassador Omodele Adebola's Unending Ovation

It is rare to see most Nigerian keeping in touch with the people around them, except, when they are in need of them. Even when some others, would recoil into their cocoons, avoiding contact with even their closest friends or families, who they are in one problem or the other, while they are alive. After the death news of their friends and families, when they would usually turn to emergency sympathizers, philanthropists and begin to attend social functions - sometimes, uninvited.

Some people thought that the massive acceptance enjoyed by Ambassador Omodele Adebola, since over a decade, was a ruse, or at most a deciduous craze obtained by the Agege born oil-magnate and business mogul, due to his closeness to the corridors of power. But, due to his rare qualities that he portraits, his popularity continues to soar, not just in Agege, Lagos State, but across Nigeria.

Early this year, he was the Chairman at an inauguration of the Assembly of the Youth Assembly of Nigeria, in far away Cross River State. His entrance into the event hall, the venue of the inauguration put everything on hold, as the over thousand youths that came for the event were falling all over themselves just to have a close touch with the man most of them see as a role model, mentor and the torchbearer for the aspirations of the Nigerian youths. After the event, he was mobbed by more admirers, and in his characteristic humility and calm mien, he remaining calm and obliged as many picture sessions as he could. But, these youths, couldn't seem to have enough of him. They didn't want him to go. Even after he left the venue of the event, this passionate troop of supporters trailed him to one of his mentee's place, where he had gone to relax.

Curiously, most of these youths didn't want money from him. While most of them just wanted to stay around him and possibly take pictures with him and share a few problems with him for a possible advice, many others had come to thank him for one good thing he had done for them in the past or to simply show solidarity with a man with a touch of love, humility, sincerity and Godliness. Some of those who came to thank him, he never met before, some of the things they came to thank him for, he didn't remember. That's how far reaching and impacting the Helu touch is.

Down home in Agege, Lagos State, Omodele's name resonates beautifully across all blocs. There is hardly any non-partisan and partisan Agegeians of substance, who doesn't have a good story to tell about his encounter with the gentleman. There are over a thousand youths whom he empowered economically, educationally and in any other way that could help them become independent.

Adebola doesn't keep record of those he assisted in one way or the other. Many of those he provided the ladder to their success for, have since broken the ladder. There are even some of them who try to use that ladder as a weapon to pull him down, but even when some people try to remind him of such people, he smiles it off, and would simply say; "I didn't do it for them, I did it for posterity, let posterity judge them." He might begin to avoid you if you are the type of friend or aide who would always come to remind him of who had offended him or who isn't showing enough gratitude.

I do not intend to exaggerate things out of proportion, but I think Ambassador Omodele Adebola has helped more young people secure employments, become financially independent and even rise economically. Even while not holding any political office, he has not failed to utilize any opportunity to fix young people up. The more disarming of all, is that he likes, sometimes to take you by surprise. He hardly tells you what he is doing for you, till it materializes. Let me squeal this to some of his youthful supporters, he is cooking something very delicious for all of you. He specifically warned me not to let this out, but my fingers won't let me keep this secret for longer.

Ambassador Adebola does not only think about the comfort of those around him, but he extends his goodwill to their families, too. He is worried when he finds out that you are worried and he keeps thinking of the best way to solve your problems. He once told me that a leader who is not able to make those close to him happy cannot be trusted to make a larger number of the people happy, if elected into a position of responsibility. "I don't believe that you could make the people happy, when those closest to you are not happy, and a leader must transmit happiness, else, he would be deemed a failure." He says.

On this bright Thursday morning, I will like to advise everyone who may be envious of the loud and untiring ovation being enjoyed by Ambassador Omodele Adebola, to instead of being envious of the young man's high impact, try to be like him. The more Ambassador Omodele Adebola kind of person we have in this country, the better for our country.

As we countdown to his nativity date and day, I wish him the gift of continued inspiration and the ability to bring smiles to the faces of those he encounter. May he always pursue his dreams with passion and experience genuine happiness in life.

May the journey of the new year serve as a reminder of both his achieved and unaccomplished dreams. May he never lose sight of the latter and always strive towards making them a reality.
