Prepping for the Christmas Season BTS!
Prepping for the season takes time and hard work. But it is made so much easier when you have a great team on hand!
Here is Sithumi learning to make our Christmas decorations. Ramini helps to with adding the hanging thread and finishing touches. Jayasundara is super handy at making little tools to make our knotting lives easier!
All finished off with a round a milk tea with extra sugar which keeps us buzzing for the rest of the day!

Introducing Sithumi!!!
Sithumi has been with us for 6 months and is an absolute macramé queen! From never having done macramé , she mastered all the knots super fast and is now an expert. Her quality control is pretty rigorous too!
In between family life and looking after her newborn, Sithumi finds time to knot and comes up with new designs for the business!

Do you miss the four seasons?

Here in Sri Lanka we don't have the four seasons, it's either monsoon or hot, hot, hot. Cozy autumn vibes are popping up all over social and we are missing watching those leaves turn.
This is our ode to Autumn! Our macramé table centre is perfect as a setting for adding that cozy, darker Autumn mood, even if it is just in our imagination.

Come meet our carpenter!
Here is Wasana helping us prepare the sticks for our bespoke macramé wall hangings! We use natural cinnamon branches from a local family in Weligama which are cut and sanded down. Not to mention they smell delicious!
We have also used some roofing off-cuts to make some price stands for shops and markets!
