Instead of creating criteria for a decision they choose the easiest path. They choose the path that requires the least amount of energy because they don’t realize they’re a pawn to their own brain.
The brain is designed to store energy and in the complicated modern world more than ever do people make important decisions the same way they make a decision on what restaurant to eat at.
It’s like choosing the videos Youtube recommended you instead of consciously deciding what you want to watch. Except people do it with what college to go to, what career to choose, where to live, who to date.
It’s a tragedy. It’s disgustingly sad. Most people let life choose for them instead of becoming the captain of their own ship.
