Another day, another harm from Mountain Valley Pipeline. The awful thing has been 'in service' a month after it told FERC it was 'mechanically complete.' Today, its website states, 'As of spring 2023, total project work for MVP was roughly 94 percent complete' but its last status report to FERC, filed on July 17, says it's 78.3% complete to full restoration. These typical lies and obfuscations don't cloud the fact that it continues to inflict harm. In the month it's been in operation, 35 pollution events have been recorded, according to the Roanoke Times.
