Afternoon to everyone who still has been following with my page.

As you all know this page has been extremely quiet for some time.

Due to my busy life with work and a 3 year old, I've made the sad decision to hang up my apron as a Thermomix consultant.

I've loved every minute of my journey but have had to step back as I haven't had the time to commit to this amazing machine.

Don't worry I've still been using my machine every day and still love it to bits. It just means I'll no longer be able to assist you with your Thermomix journey.

If you need any help along the way or in the future may want to upgrade feel free to reach out and I'll be able to point you in the direction of an amazing consultant to help you now I've finished.

I'll be closing down my page shortly, but want to thank everyone who's been there to support me in my journey. I couldn't have done it without you all xx

Hello!!! Yep I'm still here. Sorry for being MIA lately and not posting on here as much as I'd like. Life has been super busy for this mum.

I assure you I've been using my Thermomix daily and have been taking photos of some dishes I've been making to share with you all soon to keep you motivated!

Thai Peanut Chicken with Coconut Rice.

Omg people put this dish on your list to cook, it was absolutely amazing.

The Thai Peanut sauce was so delicious, combined with some veggies and coconut rice.

I found this today on Cookidoo. It uses basic ingredients to create such a mouth watering dish. You'll want to go back for seconds for sure.

I swapped out the sugar snap peas for beans as I had them in the fridge. I used a can of baby corn rather than fresh.

Sweet and sour meatballs.

Tonight I tried something a little different and whipped up sweet and sour meatballs with vegetables.

This was tasty and super simple.

I varied the recipe a little with the following amendments;

Only 1 x 420g tin of pineapple.
Added a tin each of bamboo shoots and water chestnuts.
Used 50g apple cider vinegar and 50g water in replacement of sherry.
Used 500g pork mince instead of pork fillet.
I also fried off the meat balls instead of steaming them for extra flavour.

The sauce was amazing and the meatballs packed full of flavour. I'll certainly be cooking this dish again.

Quick Chicken Curry

Tonight’s meal was a quick chicken curry recipe from Cookidoo.

I had some roast chicken left over and wanted to make it into something as I hate wasting food.

This was delish. Such a basic curry but full of flavour. I just added my roast chicken instead of the chicken thighs.

Served on some steamed rice and served with a side of garlic bread.

Did you know you can use your thermoserver to cook in?

I used mine tonight to cook my rice noodles whilst I whipped up a quick chicken stir fry.

Just add your noodles, pasta etc and top with boiling water. Place the lid on and let them cook.

Super quick and easy. I’m all about keeping life simple and this hits the nail on the head.

This is how good the Chunky Bolognese was tonight 😂😂

First time I’ve cooked this dish and it was a hit with the whole family. Super simple and best part was the texture of the mince.

We served ours on top of a jacket potato with some cheese and sour cream.

Verdict = delicious!

One of my favourite things as a consultant is when I get photos from my customers of delicious food they’ve cooked in their thermomix.

My niece whipped up Miso Chicken Noodle Soup in their new Thermomix. Doesn’t it look delicious!

I haven’t tried this but it inspired me to pop this on my list of recipes to try.

One of the best features of the new Thermomix is access to Cookidoo and all the wonderful recipes you can make.

If you’re thinking I’ll never use a Thermomix, what would I cook in it.

Here’s a snap shot of some of the ways I’ve used my 2 Thermomixes this week to make my life so much simpler!

1. Sterilized bottles for the baby.
2. Steamed veggies for dinner.
3. Baby food made veggie and apple purées.
4. Cafe style coffee and chai lattes.
5. Sweet and savoury scones for lunches.
6. Rissole mixture blitzed.
7. Protein smoothie.

This list isn’t everything but shows you just a few ways I’ve used it this week.

As a mum my Thermomix makes multi tasking and hanging out with my little man so much easier!

Teriyaki Beef

Today I decided I wanted to pimp up my steak for dinner.

I found a Teriyaki Marinade on Cookidoo which I whipped up earlier in the day, it took less than 15 minutes to make.

My steak was popped in about 1/3 of the sauce to coat it.

It was cooked in a high heat pan and served on some salad with some Kewpie mayonnaise.

This marinade was delicious and made the steak super tasty. We devoured it pretty quickly that’s for sure.

Bonus is I’ve popped the remainder of the marinade into 2 zip lock bags. It’s in the freezer so I can whip up some more tasty teriyaki flavored dishes in the future.

There are so many different sauces and marinades you can make in your Thermomix, why not give one a go 😊

Mixed berry jam.

I recently used my Thermomix to make some homemade jam. I never would’ve tried this if I had to do this in a pot on the stove.

The recipe I used was super simple and used basic ingredients including lemon, sugar and frozen berries.

I sterilized my jars first in the varoma and then cooked my jam.

It was delicious and has been devoured by the whole family.

There are so many jam recipes available on Cookidoo as well as The Recipe Community.

If you’ve got some left over berries, give jam a try you won’t be disappointed.

Pancake Sunday.

I’ve got the perfect little helper this morning to help me whip up some American Pancakes in the Thermomix.

When the weather isn’t the best and you want something warm for breakfast this is one of my favourites to whip up in my Thermie.

My little man was super excited to help add the ingredients and sample the end product.

Oops!!! Dinner fail by the husband tonight.

He was on groceries and in charge of getting something sorted for dinner.

Chicken parcels and steamed vegetables were on the menu.

Chicken parcels cooked, thermomix goes off saying veggies are ready ….. but the husband forgot to set the temperature 😱😱😂😂

So dinner is now just a chicken parcel as we couldn’t be bothered waiting for the veggies to steam!

Guess I’ll be cooking them tomorrow night instead 😂😂

Lunch all sorted with some pizza scrolls.

I quickly searched the cupboard and fridge tonight to see what I’d be having for my lunch at work tomorrow. Well let’s just say there wasn’t much on offer when it’s grocery day tomorrow.

I had a few bits leftover in the fridge and decided to whip up some scrolls as I had all the basic ingredients to make them.

I used the Three Cheese and Spinach Scroll recipe from Cookidoo for the dough and method but changed what I popped inside.

Mine have passata and mixed herbs on the base, with ham, cheese and tomatoes. They were rolled, cut, placed on the tray and sprinkled with some Parmesan cheese.

20 minutes in the oven and I now know I’ve got something tasty in my lunchbox for tomorrow.

I also halved the dough recipe so I didn’t cook too much.

These are a simple lunchbox treat to make and you can change up what you pop inside especially for those fussy eaters 😂😂
