Sandy frequently ran loose in her neighborhood and spent much of her time outside.
Sandy can be nervous with new people, and at times there are people that she just doesn't want to become friends with. On the flip side, those that Sandy bonds with, are friends for life. Sandy really needs someone who understands this and can help her learn to trust, and yet also understand that pushing her to make friends is not in her best interest either.

Sandy needs a low traffic home, likely needing to be crated or put out of sight when people come over. She also needs a home with no other pets and a secured fenced yard.

If you would like to meet Sandy, we can put you in touch with her friends that can show her.

A rescue is willing to help, so foster to adopt is an option. Sandy's adoption comes with 3 months of paid training from her shelter friends to help her transition and be the best that she can be.
