An off white fit for the sandy, sea shores. This side table brings us all the subtle shades of the sea ~ Cambridge and gold leaf on the top, gold leafing on the rim with a glass top and subtle hints of gold wax along the Parchment legs.

My latest masterpiece, an old tilt pie crust table, reimagined using MINT by michelle Future Fox, (coal black paint, pouring resin), copper guilding wax, with copper leafing on his feet. He’s currently on display at Kathie Jordan Design in beautiful downtown New Hamburg.

I’ve had a few projects on the go and finally completed this beauty. It’s the backside of a puzzle board, that will hang on my wall when not in use.
I totally underestimated how difficult the checkerboard pattern is, but am happy with the end result.

Don’t you just love the mercurial vibe of this winter skating scene?

This quick art piece was created using a fab decoupage art paper from . I repurposed an old canvas that had been done in 80’s turquoise and painted it over with some Picket Fence. Next, a quick layer of decoupage and transfer gel, followed by applying the paper and dabbing it to create lots of great texture.

This past Friday was filled with creative energy while everyone created beautiful Christmas Tree decorations using IOD moulds, air dry clay and Annie Sloan paint with gilding waxed. I’ve been having so much fun creating that I‘ve neglected getting this page up and running.
What have I been up to? Working with Kathie Jordan at Kathie Jordan Design
1. Learning the fine art of upholstery and restoring small chairs. So much fun and so rewarding!
2. Tackling some great Christmas DIY projects with all the awesome products from Kathie’s shop.
3. Leading workshops to help others learn how to use these great products and revive their inner artist.

And the fun just doesn’t stop!!! We’ve had so much interest and positive feedback that I’ll be leading Kathie’s workshop program in the new year. Make sure to follow Kathie’s page for classes and dates. And let us know if you’d like your own group class. (Personal or team-building)

I’ve been loving learning the upholstery process along with Kathie Jordan from Kathie Jordan Design. We’re having lots of fun designing and creating fab, fun, comfy chairs.
Matching chair is almost ready and then on to some gorgeous footstools.

The adventure has begun….Restyling old chairs and turning them into new, beautiful pieces of art.
