The media keeps asking over and over if there is a need for a Parents' Bill of Rights. Watch as this teacher laughs at the thought that parents should be involved in their students education. https://go2tutors.com/teacher-accountability-to-parents/
Watch A Teacher Explain Why She Doesn't Have Any Accountability To Parents “Get bent.” Those are the parting sentiments from a public school teacher addressing (we assume) a parent who to an elected official to express concern over issues with their child’s education. Teacher accountability appears to be the last thing on the mind of many educators, especially when i...

Parents' Bill of Rights is here! From the press release: “This initiative is all about transparency and parental involvement in their children’s education as parents have the right to direct the education and upbringing of their children,” said Rep. Carson. “As radicals sacrifice academics and achievement and instead focus on demographics and racial differences, parents need transparency in the school curriculum and the ability to file complaints that lead to resolution. Parents are better than the government when it comes to raising children.”
Looking forward to working with parents and grassroots advocacy groups to get this important legislation across the finish line!

Preteens may be vaccinated without parents' consent under California bill California would allow children age 12 and up to be vaccinated without their parents’ consent, the youngest age of any state, under a proposal late Thursday by a state senator.
This is a tough read, but this is why parents must hang onto their right to make decisions for their children.

I’m a Public School Teacher. The Kids Aren’t Alright. My students were taught to think of themselves as vectors of disease. This has fundamentally altered their understanding of themselves.
Here's just one of many reasons a Parents Bill of Rights is needed. From the article, "The purpose of public education in public schools is not to teach kids only what parents want them to be taught," the Michigan Democratic Party’s post continued. "It is to teach them what society needs them to know. The client of the public school is not the parent, but the entire community, the public."

Michigan Democrats criticized after dismissing parents' role in public education The Michigan Democratic Party blasted the idea that parents should have a voice in what schools teach, saying in a Facebook post that public education teaches kids what society "needs them to know."
