Egg-raordinary Science today!! The 27jOLA STEAM students build and landed their Mars Rovers on the surface of Mars!!!

The 27J Online Academy and the 27J Schools District Board of Education ar proud to honor our At Risk Interventionist Team: Kari Sims, Tracy Serveis and Elisabeth Patch. These three teachers make a difference in students lives everyday. They live the value of Believe and Every each day by working closely with students to help them move forward in their education step by step. Untimely this team is the reason for the success of our students and our school.

Caulin Savage is our first graduate of the 2022-2023 school year! Caulin is a prime example of why the 27J Online Academy exists - his unique life challenges simply would not allow him to attend a traditional school. Caulin was able to complete his high school programming while being employed and completing an internship at a local electrical contracting company. Providing this level of flexibility for students is what we do best! Congratulations to Caulin and his family, serving him has been an honor.

HOSA-Future Health Professionals from BHS and OLA created a float and participated in the community event of the BHS Homecoming Parade. It was such a fun team building and "bucket filling" event. We are thankful we got the chance to join in on the parade.

Our teachers had an incredible opportunity to attend The InnEdCo conference this week. This is a conference focused on technology in education and provided invaluable learning for enhancing online learning for students. Perhaps one of the biggest highlights was meeting , the author of “Teach Like A Pirate” and “Tech Like A Pirate”. We are so excited to see you all in the fall!

Congratulations again to our FIRST graduating class! We couldn't be more proud of each of you for your hard work and dedication this year. Each and every one of you has overcome obstacles to get this point and we know that you will go on to do amazing things!

When Corrina Vanderpuil heard 27J Schools was opening a new fully online school, the 27J Online Academy, she jumped at the opportunity to have the flexibility she needed with her busy schedule.

This new flexibility allowed her to take college courses at Front Range Community College, be a counselor aide at the Online Academy, work part-time, and join the City of Brighton Youth Commission and 27J Student Advisory Council.

27J Online Academy Celebrates Gianni Montoya. Gianni was a presenter at the Colorado Business Hall of Fame in conjunction with Junior Achievement. Having the courage and honor to speak to a crowd of over 800 guests show only a part of what this amazing young man can do! Way to go Gianni!!
