Alvarado Lions Club
Alvarado Lions Club has been serving the Alvarado community for almost 100 years! variety of ways.
We provide eye glasses and vision awareness for school-aged children and support our community in.
President Lion Suzanne King presented Callie Tatum and Kinkaide Brown a $1000 scholarship at Alvarado High School’s Senior Awards on Monday, May 20, 2024. Scholarship proceeds were raised from our annual golf tournament.

Alvarado lions Club was honored to have 2-E2 District Membership Chair Lion Mary Alice Layland at the March 19th general meeting. Alvarado Lions Club was honored to have District 2-E2 Governor Woody Mathews at their general meeting on February 2. Members enjoyed a luncheon and fellowship. Alvarado Lions Club welcomes new members Lion Israel Stephens and Lion Amy Tatum, sponsored by Lion Dr. Maribel Diaz. The lions are very excited to serve the community of Alvarado. The Alvarado Lions Club is always looking for new members, if interested, join us at a meeting on the first or third Tuesday of each month, at noon, at the Alvarado ISD administration building. 
Alvarado Lions Club would like to thank the Alvarado Dairy Queen for hosting a fundraiser yesterday, March 1. All fundraising proceeds will go towards children’s eyewear and Alvarado ISD’s senior scholarships. Dairy Queen.

Our Alvarado Lions Club golf tournament is quickly approaching on Friday, May 19! We're at a new course this year so make sure make arrangements to join us at Hidden Creek Golf Course in Burleson.

As we get closer to 2023 we would like to challenge you to be a part of something bigger than you are. The City of Alvarado is blessed to have a lot of service organizations like the Alvarado Lions Club! The Lions Club is when caring people join together, roll up their sleeves and take action to make their community better, it’s a beautiful thing—and an incredible feeling for everyone involved. That’s Lions. Being a Lion is about leading by example, building relationships and improving the world through kindness. It’s 1.4 million caring men and women serving together so they can make a lasting impact and change more lives. The Alvarado Lions Club meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at 12:00 noon at the Alvarado ISD administration building that focus on serving Alvarado.
Excited to announce our newest member Nicole Wheat!!! Lion Nicole owns and operates Dance Fusion, our local dance studio.
We have bi-weekly meetings at Noon on the first and third Tuesday each month at the AISD Administration Building.
Come by the Alvarado ISD Administration Building tonight for a Chamber of Commerce After Hours event! We’ll have several door prizes for those who leave their business card!
