What is this image showing us? 🤔

This data type is called SAR SICD (Sensor Independent Complex Data). The SAR data shows us the total backscatter of radar signals from a surface. This gives us a 2D image of the surface, with each pixel representing the total power of returned radar signals scattering off the surface. SAR data has advantages over passive remote sensing datasets (e.g., multispectral and hyperspectral) because radar signals can pe*****te through clouds and do not rely on the reflectance of solar rays.
