Here’s why Q4 of 2022 was the bottom of the recent real estate market cycle.📈

The last couple of weeks in the industry we have seen an increase in buyers going under contract, more homes hitting the market and once again properties becoming competitive. 🏢 Mortgage rates are decreasing and there’s an increase in mortgage applications.

It’s turning out to be a busy spring market in Chicago!

Much needed start to the new year! Glad to catch up with my real estate crew and talk shop and crepes!

Short answer: YES!! To all 3 questions!

In real estate we have an unofficial start to our “spring market” typically as the day after the Super Bowl.

However, we have seen an earlier start to our spring market last year and it looks like again this year. Just this past week we have seen increased number in homes hitting the market, properties going under contract and buyers reaching out to plan what their timeline looks like in 2023.

The most magical moments happen when it is least expected! To say I was surprised was an understatement, but I am so happy that Chad asked me to be his wife and I said “YES!”

Life doesn’t always happen the way you plan it out, but I’m so grateful to be with the person who makes me feel complete. 💕
