Pray in the night, you are complaining
One hour you are grumbling
Forget about power
God is not a herbalist

Thirty minutes of praying in the Spirit
And you are dosing
No! You can't carry power that way
It takes a level of stamina that defies the gate of darkness

You must defy pain
You must defy excessive food
This eating like a fool that destroys people
You are on a mission going somewhere
If you cannot tame your stomach, you can't tame any demon
Eat anything anyhow saying I am a human being, man must wack
Look at that kind of thinking?

Sleep?
If you don't conquer sleep, you will never host this anointing
This slumber and sluggishness and laziness
You stand to pray 10mins, you are snoring and sleeping
You can gist and gossip for one day, but to stand to do spiritual things, you are sleeping

And then the time for the Word of God
You open this Bible and you are yawning
You better cast that devil fast
It is a spirit
Your life is under attack - don't ever say it's alright, I am just tired

1CORINTHIANS 4:20

This world is a dangerous place to live in, that is why people will go to every extent to get some form of power for protection. We as believers must also be connected to a source of power for protection. God honors faithfulness; the degree of your relationship with God determines the degree of divine power made available to you.
This means that the greateness of power you operate is based on the depth of your relationship with God and the level of God’s knowledge you have. Power comes when you act on the Word of God, but sadly enough many have resisted the Word of God and do not study any longer. Without God’s word, you are powerless. Jesus had the power to overcome the devil after His forty days and forty night fast because He had the Word in His spirit– “It is written…it is written….it is written”

PRAYER:
Pray and ask God to help you act on His Word.

Many years ago, a Pentecost elder said to me “I can see that God will take you very far but there is one prayer I am praying for you, that God will give you a people with good heart” The most difficult state you can find yourself in ministry is not dealing with the devil or principalities and powers but to be surrounded by people with wrong hearts. Nothing can be more dangerous than this. They will come to church, fast and pray but they will still go out and talk negatively about you.

One day one of my spiritual sons told me that studies have proven that one of the fastest ways a church grows is when the congregation love their pastor. In one of T.D Jakes’ conferences I attended, he said “When God decides to put the devil on one side and put people with wrong hearts on another side, choose the devil because the devil has already been dealt with by Jesus. Wrong people have destroyed the church more the devil. How do I know that? “I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” ( ) which means that the devil has been permanently cut off from the church. It is people with a wrong heart that are destroying the church.

PRAYER:
Pray and ask God to surround you with the right-hearted people.
